  1. Landos pace comes from those emotional moments of pushing it despite the risk. He doesnt really do the cool calm decision making thing so I dont think hes going to just "figure it out" and make better decisions. Its pure instinct, and when it works its great, but I think if he does learn to be cool, he will just be slow

  2. If only lando had Sebastian vettle as his manager then he could beat piastri. And also mark webber would explode.

  3. He's 22 points behind Oscar in the championship, factoring in the sprint races there's 382 points still available. One race weekend can turn everything on its head immediately. As a Mclaren fan I'm happy for either driver to win the championship, but frankly if you're assuming it's Oscar's to lose already you're clueless. It's quite clear this a three way, and possibly four way championship fight between Oscar, Lando, Max and arguably George right now

  4. It's the same situation like 1998 with Hakkinen and DC. Norris is like DC. good but not good enough

  5. He's struggling with the pressure, he has the best car on the grid and has been excellent throughout his time in F1, this year is his year. But it's clear the pressure is getting to him. Oscar on the other hand, has no pressure, everyone expected him to be firmly number 2 this year, he knows he's good enough to achieve that, anything more is a bonus. He is thriving, much time Lando did for many years with little to no expectations on him. Sadly for Lando, he didnt have a championship winning care during is "limited pressure years" but Oscar does. What separate's the great drivers from the best drivers is how they handle pressure.

  6. 2007: the repeat.
Dominant McLaren, stuffed it up by not controlling their drivers.
Alonso and Hamilton, now Piastri and Norris.

McLaren need to back Oscar as #1 driver.

  7. I mean, last year we saw one of the worst title contender in F1. That didn't come out of nowhere.

  8. I've always said that Lando is, and always will be, a great driver, not a great racer. A race winner, not a world champion.

  9. Piastri is the first driver, in the last 10 years (apart from Max) that i really liked. Fast, consistent, cold af, humble, winner mentality, dont give af about media, australian.

  10. You really should try to angle your microphone and not talk directly into the capsule. You might have a pop filter in front of it or a windscreen over it, but some of it is still going through.

  11. It’s not easy becoming world champion. The pressure must be incredible. Lando has many supporters that have always loved him and will continue to through all ups and downs.
