  1. Guess at least I'll be a fan of A Canucks team. But it will be abby
What an epic W for the Oilers. Offloading a contract and player like that onto a division rival… And still getting something back, with no salary retention? Good lord lol

Kane is a third liner at this point in his career.
Please explain how Kane is a top 6? He is not a top line player. He is not a point producer, he fills no roll in the Vancouver Canucks lineup.
The personality is a side problem. His lack of EVER having production in his career?

The Vancouver Canucks could have brought great players up from Abby (who are already better than Kane). And still held plenty of space to look for a GENUINE top 6 player.

Such a waste of cap space.

  2. Well done GM. We need tough guy who can score goals and can grind out in the corners and also knows how to fight in need.

  3. I think he's a tough gritty talented player, that had issues in the past, people can change. He didn't seem to have any issues in Edmonton.

  4. Canucks make a huge trade to bolster the character in Their locker room best in the league btw 🎉

  5. So, I think what's being missed here is Vancouver should not have had to give up anything to obtain Kane. They had all the leverage in this transaction, Edmonton should have paid Vancouver to shed that salary or at least retained salary. I'm pretty sure the other teams that were in on Kane had that expectation and since Vancouver was willing to pay for him of course they got him. But when someone asks you for a favor you don't pay THEM to do it, they pay you. Especially if it's a division rival.

  6. 2 sides 😂 I don’t think so! 4 NHL teams had problems with this jack hole, but it will be different in Vancouver.

  7. They had to make an improvement in the top six and Evander does that for them and it only cost them a fourth round pick. Great move and will be appreciated a lot more after fans see how insane the free agent market on July 1 plays itself out. This one move allows a few Abby Canucks to come up and make the NHL roster. Expect Demko to get traded for a center or some sort of trade capital to get their first and second line centers they require to get back to being a competitive team. I won't be surprised if they have to make a splash on July 1 by signing a guy like Tavaras or similar. Desparate times require desparate measures. So far so good. I would expect Demko has to get traded in the next couple of days, and i wouldn't be surprised if Hronek gets traded in that time frame as well. Lots of work to do yet for the Canucks. Given the fact that this years first round picks aka Canucks 15th are not being highly valued (poor draft year apparently) i would expect the Canucks to keep their first and probably try to draft a centerman. Normally Vancouvers first round pick has been Cryptonite for this management but the rumors say nobody cares to take that first for any significant improvement to the Canucks top 6. More fun to come.

  8. Kind of funny that when we could have got him for 1 mil you did not want him and he went to the Oilers, but you don't make the decisions but ownership and management so I can't really dump on ya. I wanted him then and felt we needed guys like him. We could still get Jeannot and still have 2 mil to play with. Team needs to become closer to a wolf pack like the Panthers. Guys like that could get us closer to the playoffs. And play Blais. We would have a formidable team. It would open so much room for our other players. Might be able to move one or two bottom six guys since we are loaded with them.

  9. I can tell you as an oilers fan Kane has matured oilers fans loved him the team liked him and it’s not a bad move for Vancouver. It’s only 1 year so if it dosnt work out it’s not really a big risk.

  10. I just want to say, is have fun dealing with his psycho ex-wife who constantly posts about him on her social media accounts 😂

  11. DANILA KLIMOVICH IS RIGHT THERE AS YOUR LW REPLACEMENT!! WHY BRING IN EVANDER KANE WHO FOLDS UNDER PRESSURE TO THE FLORIDA PANTHERS’ SHENANIGANS?! You could’ve signed Danila Klimovich, Aatu Raty, Max Sasson, Philip Di Giuseppe, Arturs Silovs, LITERALLY ANYONE on the Abbotsford Canucks to fill out that roster and you choose EVANDER KANE?! Need I remind you all that he is currently being investigated by the NHL right now?! WHAT AN AWFUL TRADE! He should’ve been sent to somewhere like Ottawa or Anaheim. If you really wanted to trade with someone from the Oilers, GET VIKTOR ARVIDSSON INSTEAD! He plays the same position as Evander Kane but is also cheaper and causes less problems. What awful asset management by the Canucks. Truly awful. They better not resign him after this. I’m worried that he could cause problems with someone like Jake Debrusk. THEY BETTER NOT LET DEBRUSK GO IF THAT HAPPENS! Let Kane go instead.

  12. Podkolzin for a 4th and Kane for a 4th….i would rather have Kane but i thought the Canucks only wanted players with "high integrity" which is the opposite of what Kane brings to the locker room. Kane has tremendous baggage and the media in Vancouver will eat him alive when they catch him at the Roxy with someone from Leolist. The Canucks look real bad here cuz they said they only wanted players with "High Integrity" and Kane is the complete opposite of
"integrity" he has tremendous baggage which is well documented on YouTube. The Canucks are really contradicting themselves here. A 4th round pick is basically a bag of pucks but the $5 million in cap space isn't.

  13. In some ways (despite their different positions) he's a Zadorov replacement. He's going to stand up for teammates, throw some big hits and get some points.

  14. Wish him all the best in Vancouver. I’d say it’s a fair trade, Podkolzin for Kane. In due time, Podkolzin could become a top 6 winger. Certainly love that in the postseason, Podkolzin was basically the only one that played consistently from start to finish, always chasing the puck, and throwing good hits (not a lot of Oilers that throw hits). Even getting a goal in his first time in playoffs.

  15. Here is the thing if canucks are out of the playoffs picture in the upcoming season Kane would make a great trade opportunity for a team that's pushing for a run for the cup , ps abby canucks are have their celebration tomorrow June 26 and tickets are 5 bucks

  16. Small gamble for the Canucks as he does only have 1 year left on the current deal. If it does not work out you move on right away. The next contract possibly could be an issue depending how that shakes out but that is something to worry about down the line.

  17. Should we sign Tony DeAngelo next? Great on the ice, just rumors of being bad in the locker room. Maybe those rumors are overblown too.

  18. Straight jackets are hanging on the wall ..Insanity is here ..Meds are on the table .. Bandwagon jumpers are screaming ..lol

  19. Man, imagine if Vancouver somehow got all lowermainland born players. And players born in B.C. to play for the canucks. On top of the players like Hughes, hronek d.pettey and lankinen and silovs.. yeah, the team would be great

  20. Question: what the hell are you saying at the end of each and every video.. "i hiope you enjoyed this, hswdgbwhaiajavvr.. an goodbye"

  21. You are a clown 🤡 sir.
He has never done anything to me other than play hard against my team.
I hear you have personality issues and that’s why Stephen A won’t have you on.

  22. The guys from the Chicago pedphile club are allowed to work in the league no question.
But the black kid is a monster.
    You should have a listen.

  23. I get why mcdavid isn’t signing right away there’s too many older guy when you look at the teams that made the playoffs they are one of the older teams there was only 4 forwards that aren’t in their 30s but are in their late 20s and think about it this way last year they did better too took it to 7 this year they took a step back only getting to 6 and most of their older guys have nmc while you have the Canadians making it to the playoffs being one of the youngest teams

  24. He has grown as a person, that's why his finals performance was so disappointing. Hopefully he is motivated to do better for his home town team. Hockey fans need to give up on his past life. That was 4-5 years ago now.

  25. I live in Edmonton hes had no issues here with his dark side. Guys known to show up at the low income schools and do stuff for the kids. Hope he can make something work i think the coach here has it out for a few guys like Kane and Jeff Skinner.

  26. Kane is such a good pick up not just the 5m cap hit but the fact that he’s willing to leave a 2x cup contender to Vancouver should show other players that Vancouver is a real team this year

  27. In my opinion..
This is a great pickup… Kane is a really good player and can't wait to see what the pp looks like with him and Pettie

  28. If the Canucks can get rossi aswell in the offseason I think this is a good move but cap space was already an issue now they have almost exactly 7 mill cap space left unless they can get Rossi for 6.7 or 6.8 I don’t see them pulling the trigger on a 2c

  29. I don’t hate but at the same time I don’t love it either. The Canucks though are going to be hella annoying to play against. Sherwood, Garland, Joshua, and now Kane.

  30. Hmmmm.
Lets see here, how too make a worse team from last year.
    1. Get Evander Kane that most fans hate and start controversial crap in he room with the other guys.
    2. give our 4th pick away.
    3. Now lets find another guy that fans will even hate even more and will give our.
4 1 and 2nd picks away for that guy and have a crappy team for another 5 years.
get used too it everyone we are the canucks and the owners will keep picking the worst too pick for us. god how much i hate being a canucks fan.

  31. It’s ok for the Canucks, finally got some muscle, he’s capable of 20-25 goals and will keep teams a little more honest around EP40 and more so Huges!
Cheaper than Boaser who’s going to want 8 mil, it’s only one season and he has more games and playoff experience than most any current Canuck, if he has a decent season someone will pick him up at the deadline for a playoff run.

Only negative oilers had with him is 5 million $ they need to sign three other players!
