Also in 2009 Ozzie wasn't the reason the Wings lost. Didn't Hudler take a stupid penalty & draw blood and that was the series turning point in favor of the Penquins?
Honestly if there was a way to do it…I would keep Marner get Matthews to wave his NMC. Matthews has zero heart…Marner is solid 200ft player and a Home town Player. Frankly the Leafs and Marner did just fine when Matthews was out. 34 certainly does deserve to wear the C…he is not a leader…he is fragile and phlegmatic and if you really change the DNA…find a way to move him and some picks back that Leafs desperately need if they want to remain competitive.
Henrik Zetterberg is not even in… Hall of fame is a joke, simple as. And there are of course others that should be in but Zetterberg was the first that came to mind because 1, i'm swedish 2, i saw a video about him a little while ago..
