Terrible move by Canucks. Do they want more problems than what they already have?
He brings grit, and when focused and not a distraction, he is a good player. I'm worried about the amount of trouble he brings but he can also be flipped too in case things really don't work out
I think this move has potential. Less money than Brock, show me year, hometown boy, no playoffs…a flip for a higher draft pick.

Kane is dumb. He sits in the penalty box. Old shitty player. He single handily ruined the chance of winning. Please flip Kane on a trade with a good player.
Good Trade For The Canucks Because If Quinn Hughes Get Hit Evander Kane Could Be There For Him
This Canuck team has been too sweet for years now. This guy is anything but on the ice. Sure, he's a handful outside the rink and maybe in the dressing room. BUT, if you look at his record, the big problems start in his second year. What the Canucks need is talent upfront that doesn't wilt in tough games and can piss off the opponents. A fourth rounder…come on stop ragging on it. It will be fine. A top six forward for no cost.
Disclaimer: I'm an Oilers fan (who lives in Edmonton). Kane has skills. Yes, last year he was injured and needed multiple surgeries but he has style and personality (and he hits like a truck). So allowing for some of Vancouver's needs I think it's not a horrible situation BUT I know the Oilers got the cash and pick and Vancouver has actually a more than serviceable forward with attitude. Take care all.

Given Kane has been a locker room issue in his past teams, I'm not particularly optimistic about this trade. The Oilers have a very strong leadership group that probably kept him in check, but given how fragile the Canucks room appears to be with how the Pettersson-Miller drama came down, I can't see this being a good fit.

Good move by GM. Kane can fight he can hit and he can score. AT 5.5 mill per year guy will score 20 plus goals a year. It is a smart move just in case if Boeser leaves. For 4th round well done Canucks managers.
Absolutely STUPID decision from Allvin and management. It's like they learned nothing from the Desharnais trade and wete happy to go back to Edmonton to take another of their rejects.
Unless this is the first step in changing from a EP40 style team to the opposite of that, this is a bad step. I can't see EP40 and Kane being in the same room.
Not too sure what they are doing, 4th round,band has trouble every team he has been on, I hope being at home settles him down!
At first I was wondering why the heck are helping the Oilers make cap space lol but i do like this obviously we couldn't get Douchane or other big names so this is low risk only year at $5.1….Kane/Petterson/Debrusk could be an interesting line if Petey has a good season!!! That gives us 2 good wingers with size, grit and hands!!! We really need Petey to make this an exceptional line!!! There's definitely potential here! Now I'm REALLY worried about our second line!!!
Don't judge too soon Canuck fans , he is one of the best power forwards in the NHL . Give him a chance in his home town . Don't whine like Leafs fans.
