start with your first pair I’m going to go with zadorov mvoy I think you look at what zadorov brings right obviously the physicality is a much needed element that the Bruins needed his Mobility he can break the puck out like Grizz even though they are vastly different after that in terms of their player profile like don’t mention Matt grizzli how freaking dare you putting Zadora with makoy I think makes a lot of sense they kind of do the dirty work and have makavo you know focus more down the other end of the ice where he can be really assertive I think that’s going to get a lot more out of maoy game as a result I agree but I went with lindol and makoy I agree with you on the parts about makoy having a consistent top pairing defenseman but I think you get that Lind Holm too now Lind Holm is is he as physical no is he as much of a shutdown defenseman no but I think you’re going to create a lot more offense with Lind Holm with makoy together which is something you know we have not seen a lot of offense from the defense in recent years from the Bruins I think putting Lind and McAvoy together uh on that top pairing kind of helps with that

Zadorov and 73
With zadorov playing stay at home, Mac can worry more about offense.

It has to be Zadorov because the $9.5M guy cannot play defense in his own end. The latter requires someone big in front of the net, as he gets pushed around and is oft out of position…saw it over and over and over. Hence the "is he hurt" bit coming up amongst writers and fans. Interestingly, Lindholm was brilliant on the first pairing when $9.5 guy was out and never looked better. However, this does not imply pairing him with 9-5 as Lindy's game is not being that defensive anchor for a somewhat undersized offensive puck-rusher.
