Goalie Mind Games 🧠🥶

During warmups before Game 3, Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner and Panthers goalie Vitek Vanecek are spotted in a subtle stare-down. It might be goalie mind games—last year, in Game 7, Panthers netminder Anthony Stolarz stood right near Skinner at the red line too.

  1. Pure respect. Just means Cats are afraid of Skinner when he’s on his game so they need to use underhanded tactics to get an edge.

  2. They're talking about how the script is becoming blatantly obvious like the NFL has. The refs are a bleeding give away that it's set up, it's extremely similar to NFL officiating; extremely favorable with selective penalty calls and no calls, there's a definite double standard. An example: the last two goalie interference calls; how were those interference but Bennett's punch to Stolarz wasn't a penalty?

  3. You shouldn’t even try and intimidate the other team when you have a baseball hat waiting on the bench for you to wear
