All Signs Point to THIS…

all sides point to this as a major draft update has just occurred for the Boston Bruins as one of the top names around the draft has linked them to once again James Hagens We’re going to be breaking down what he had to say and why this confirms it as well as going over a very interesting trade as reports have revealed the Oilers are circling back on Jeremy Swain We also have one special announcement here at the end of this video that was just dropped So you’re going to want to stick around until the end But very quickly before we do jump into this video be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already As you know we’re on the road to 7K We are literally a couple subscribers away but we got a lot of news coming and you won’t want to miss it So even after 7K a good percent of you guys watching right now are not subscribed to the channel We’re going to have your Bruins throughout the entire summer here into the regular season and well beyond that But let’s get straight into this video Let’s not waste any more time Let’s hit our first look here from Bob McKenzie Now as you see here this looks like a very familiar mockdraft as we saw this from Craig Button a few days ago His final draft rankings were very similar if not the exact same with one name in specific in James Haggins being listed as number seven to the Boston Bruins Now this is very interesting because James Haggin was originally believed to be someone who was going at one point first overall then dropped down to second Now at this point only a couple days away from the draft Let’s think about seventh overall And Bob McKenzie has shared a few thoughts here on this and we’re going to jump into his first quote here from the uh from the TSN article Meanwhile Boston College center James Haggins was heading in the opposite direction He went from number one preseason to number two mid-season and number seven in the final rankings Now this is one thing that I feel like we’ve spoken a little bit about but this is one thing that I do not think is on James Haggin at all His performance this year was pretty solid overall and I think he’s a player that will certainly be a very good fit wherever he does go I think just a lot of the other players around him got much better and I think that’s something that you know well obviously James Haggins can’t really uh change on that factor But James Haggin was already someone who seemed to be above the level a lot of players in this draft but ultimately everybody seemed to catch up and it really makes sense of why we’re here now and where James Haggin is currently going at number seven in kind of that area and realm of projection And when we move on to Craig Buttons here or I guess the list of every single one of them with Craig Button Craig Button here has him list at eight of course as we remember a few days ago But apart from that everybody still has him listed through three to five Realistically out of the Bruins range and in a very very good spot to be able to uh you know get drafted by any of the teams in front of him But as we do see from TSN’s uh head of head of hockey scouting Craig Button and Bob McKenzie who has done this for so many years been very very um been very good on the topic I guess we could say over the last little while even though there are a few other names here that are very important to kind of keep in mind and whatnot Although James Haggins still may easily go before a seven two of the top in my mind prospect um you know reporters are putting him at number seven to the Boston Bruins which is one thing that I think we really need to take into consideration and being one of the more important things that the Bruins uh and have to take into consideration as we get towards the draft here on Friday And we know that they’ve spoken about a New York Islanders trade The Islanders are trying to get Hagens at number seven The Bruins have wanted to move up I know they’re not going to get the first overall pick that has been told by Matthew Daria They are not trading it But there are still so many moves that could be made by not just the Bruins but across the NHL to make any team move up or down The Bruins may choose to move down If the deal is right they may move up But as of right now James Haggin is one player that I’m sticking with for the time being As you know he’s just a phenomenal player 37 points in 37 games here with Boston College But apart from that he’s just been a player that has been very consistent over his years you see there with the national development program as well 47 points in 26 games over a point per game as well in the World Juniors He’s just a player that really has shown that he is going to be an NHL ready player a lot sooner than some other players may be and is going to be a very good player overall 5’11 177 mainly I think the big part a center We need one That’s been very evident and he really fits the bill for the Bruins especially if players and um you know organizations are still linking him in the top three to five of this draft It’s something that if you get James Haggins dropped to you you almost have to take him So I want to know what you guys think about here in the comments below and you know the idea where we currently stand with James Haggins with Bob McKenzie pointing it out because I think that at this point we see our two big uh prospect reporters putting him at seven and eight I trust them a lot more than some of these other you know I don’t want to say noncredible but less a little bit less credible just because they haven’t been around the game so long uh reports from across the uh the NHL So let me know what you think about that as well because I’m very curious I know a lot of people were not really big fans of James Haggins in this specific case Now one thing I wanted to add before we do get into our next topic here I want to pull up this tweet from Scott Wheeler of the Athletic or not tweet excuse me article from The Athletic from Scott Wheeler Everyone I’ve talked to in the last week or so seems to think O’Brien Martin and Hagens don’t get past the Flyers or the Bruins at six and seven Yet one of the top eight guys has to go outside of the top seven I’ve also heard the Bruins have looked into moving up I do think it’s interesting that the Flyers and Bruins seem to be uh to be like the same three guys to pick back to back though and Hagens just make so much sense for the Bruins that a high-end piece to build around if he’s there Now putting that into kind of consideration that the Bruins have tried to trade up as well as kind of going over here and looking at the offense that they’ve kind of had the opportunity to have this season and of course changes will be made here and as you see the entire left side are free agents I would say most if not all of those will be resigned fitting James Haggins into this lineup as well Whether or not he’ll spend another year at Boston College I think fits really well We know they like their Boston College guys Dean Lo Chino is there currently uh playing on that team Didn’t have a great year but you get to see him You get to see local And I think it’s a very important thing that the Bruins are trying to consider here with this team So let me know what you think about that But let’s move on to our next topic here And I do have another uh article pull up here from RG Media They’ve been very active as of late And this comes from Bruins Insider According to RG Media Stan Bowman was in talks with the Bruins possibly regarding the acquisition uh the acquisition of Swayman during the previous season And now there are talks uh that he may circle back Now Jeremy Swayman we know had a very bad season last year There’s no surprise by that Following the 24-25 season the Bruins have very little faith in him this report says and his abilities And now there’s speculation the Oilers may once again call the organization in regards to him Now we’ve seen some reports here that they may try and trade Swayman to move up to fourth overall I think that’s crazy You know you don’t have another goalie right now that can jump in and be your star goalie Yes he was really bad this year but that don’t mean he’s going to continue that But I do think this is just genuinely crazy that you’re seeing Jeremy Swayman being linked to the fourth overall pick The Oilers are one thing I can see a little bit more Still very unlikely though in my opinion unless they return is something the Bruins literally cannot pass up Looking at Jeremy Swayman you know you know I’m a big fan of him If you’ve been here for the channel I’ve I’ve caught I called him out a bit and I didn’t want to do it but you know the way he played really was uh deserving of it But the way that Swayman will bounce back and I hope at least you know I’m not saying anything is guaranteed but the way I hope he bounces back he should be the star goalender and really propel this team a bit further than where they were last season Not going to say the playoffs but I think that certainly could be an option here for the Boston Bruins especially with free agency with the draft with everything that’s lining up And if Swayman returns you can’t trade him You You can’t You just can’t I mean I want to know what you guys think as well though It’s very difficult to say I know a lot of you guys have said trade Swayman in the comments last year but I I don’t that’s just a kind of reactionary I think you know I was in the same boat for a few times but at the end of the day I think there’s no way you can trade him at least at this point after signing a one the eight-year deal One year into it really wasn’t great I think this year will kind of determine that but right now you just can’t So as I mentioned earlier you let me know what you think about that But as I mentioned earlier we do have a little special announcement Now it’s not for me of course but Jane Oara has made it into the hockey hall of fame This literally came out I would say about 10 minutes ago just before recording I wanted to throw this in the end say congratulations and of course you know a very deserving legend Bruins legend in the Hall of Fame Another one adding to that very very long list and I just want to say congratulations We know what he’s done here and uh it was absolutely deserving and finally we’re seeing him and hopefully we see Berser on here in a couple years as well and when we see a Marshall on retirement we’re going to have a lot of these Bruins that we were very familiar with over the past few seasons in the Hall of Fame But let me know what you think about all this news here today I think Hagens is really all but drafted here with the Boston Bruins at this point Now of course a lot of things can change from here until Friday A lot of teams I’m assuming are going to be in on James Haggin but I really want to see what you guys think as well in the comments below before we actually get there But that’s all I got in this video If you did enjoy give it a like hit the sub button As real as well I want to mention we’re 1. For swayman if oilers add 2 draft picks and maybe a player then it’s most likely. Other than that we will not be getting rid of him unless he doesn’t bounce back this coming season

  2. Hagens frondell desnoyer one of them should slip to us worst case scenario I’m all in on McQueen.

  3. Get rid of #1JM he is greedy not a team guy or would have took less $$$$$$$ to get help. Could get a few 1st round picks to set us up for the future

  4. Please god don’t trade sway. Yes, he has a down year, but there’s no evidence to show that it’s anything other than just that, a down year. He’ll likely bounce back next year. To trade him away, and not getting at least a .900 goalie in return, is tantamount to throwing away this competitive window. We’d have to go into full rebuild mode, and we’d end up having to trade pasta, mcavoy, etc. in a couple years.

  5. My favorite centers in order. Misa, Frondell, Desnoyers, O’Brien, Hagens, McQueen, Martin. Hope I’m not missing someone 😊

  6. Trade him!! Otherwise, were stuck with that monster contract, his NMC kicks in the start of the season. We have goalies that can step up, were not going anywhere for a while anyways. We sure as hell could use the cap money!!

  7. I don’t think he falls to 7 but Utah is likely to reach for Martin so somebody better than expected will. If he does end up there and Boston doesn’t pick him….theres no hope lol. I know people are low on him for some reason, but you need to walk away from this draft with a top 6 forward
