Love the new Blues jerseys. HATED the home jerseys with navy in them. The new jerseys remind me of the jerseys the boys wore in the late 60s & early 70s. I’d be in favor of the Blues acquiring Dobson if the situation was right
New uniforms look great!!! I would not do a Kyrou straight up for Dobson even though he would be a great addition. Maybe if they had something else brewing to replace Kyrou, then maybe but they do need center help . Thanks for the update guys!!!!
Let’s sit on our $ until team tryouts imo. If Ky was flipped Holloway and Snug could potentially make up the point difference lost. Agree on offense making higher highs this year. Great content guys thx!

Longtime Blues fan, Kyrou is okay but his attitude and spirit doesn't fit the team. Go for Dobson, go for Granlund. Get rid of the liability that is kyrou. The game is changing as Florida has shown. We cant afford a 1 dimensional player like Kyrou. Makes as much as Thomas, less points and no defense. Get rid of him!!!

Talk about a big D investment seems a year or two away. The Blues have too many D contracts that are a) not great and b) expiring in two years. It's possible to move some of them out, but it seems more realistic to think they will sign someone big in a couple of years when all that cap space comes free. OTHO, if the fit is right the Blues will have to jump on a RHD even if it creates cap problems in the short term. They don't have the D in their system to fill that position from within.
I'd already heard rumors of the Blues being interested in Dobson from other hockey sites, I'm excited to know that Army is still hunting whether he gets Dobson or someone else

Kyrou for Dobson would work if army signs some forward help. He’d have to replace the goal scoring he’d lose with Kyrou

I like Dobson but I worry what it would cost. I assume they want someone who can play right now + a prospect or a pick. Would Faulk + a first rounder or Faulk + Jiricek/Lindstein be enough? I think throwing Kyrou in that deal would be a huge mistake for the Blues and if they offered him to the Islanders it would be an easy yes for them. The Blues lack goal scorers. The past 3 seasons the Blues have only had 1 player score 30 or more goals and each of those 3 years that guy was Jordan Kyrou. They need him. Maybe Snuggerud can be that guy, but he likely needs a few seasons to get to that level and we just don't know if he'll be that guy yet. Kyrou is a lock for 30 goals on the Blues next year and could crack 40. Just doesn't make sense for me.

Ppl ignoring that Kyrou is getting better each year. Last year he picked up his overall play. I used to be a trade kyrou guy but he worked so well with holloway.
Rasmus Andersson will be a target of the Blues as well, Doug is going after a RD replacement for Faulk inside the Blues top 4 D and Dobson only averages 30 seconds of PK time a game while Andersson averages a full 2 minutes a game. I have my money on Rasmus Andersson being the Blues primary target with Dobson as another option due to last season's horrible PK results needing a boost. Especially adding a. 24 minute a night RHD that can be a primary PKer and not just be taking one 30 second PK shift a game as an occasional fill in on the 2nd unit. Honestly I'm not seeing Dobson as all that great a fit compared to Andersson.
Dobson's been linked to 5-6 teams already. lol. He's not worth $9 million. Defensive liability. And he's inconsistent. Take it from an Isles fan.

I feel that my blues should do their best to trade for dobson and draft ravensbergen during the draft because currently we dont have any superstar goalies for the future and binner is getting older and rn he is on and off during the regular season
he is going to be a ufa next year. Kyrou is locked down on a team freindly deal long term…no way. They don't want something like a 1st, jiricek and fisher…move on…we don't need a defenseman and he won't get near what some speculation has been saying after last season and the amount he was seeking.
I’d rather trade Kyrou for a more desperately needed 2nd line center. To those who worry about losing Kyrou’s scoring – Holloway, Snuggerud, Bolduc, and maybe even Dvorsky (might need more time in the minors) all have goal scoring upside potential. Buchnevich could score 30 goals, again. Trading Kyrou for a good No. 2 center could easily be a net gain on offense.
I think Minnesota’s Rossi would be a great fit on the Blues. But, I don’t see them trading him to a division rival.
I’d do a one for one to trade Kyrou to solidify the D. I don’t even care if we remain a bubble team next year. If Holloway even takes a small step, he’s more valuable to the team. Fuck the goals. He does everything else better and is still close with goals. I’m tired of the “Kyrou has improved on D” stuff. He went from garbage to less garbage and my god does he give up pucks in the worst areas at the worst times. Still waiting on some advanced stats, league wide, on offense players creating goals against because Lyrou would be up there. Season Snuggy for a year. Maybe Dalibor on the third as a wing. Bring in a seasoned late 20s centerman. Boom. Done
