No penalties just meant that they didn't come out with knives on the end of their sticks and stabbing each other. As you said in a previous video, you knew they weren't going to call anything, and they didn't. Well, except for that non consequential 4 on 4.
Thanks Shannon for bringing it like it is. I haven't watched any of the finals because the officiating has been directed in a way that infuriates me. Your description of a solution is right on. A few penalties at the beginning of the playoffs could have made intent to injure and goalie sitting end. But not in Gary's NHL. That is why I am watching Abbotsford in the AHL playoffs and enjoying it very much. Keep up the good work in the AHL playoff reviews.
Man, it wasn't that long ago the Panthers couldn't get out of the first round, they were tarping the seats and were a punchline in the NHL. Its so surprising and awesome to see this franchise be a championship winning team and usher in a new era of consistency and relevance. Love my Panthers 🤎💙

As A blues Fan can say the Playoffs this year were kinda meh. Of course I think the Blues Jets series was pretty good. Leafs & Panthers went seven. The rest was boring. Florida showed their dominance and honestly could be here again next year. Not sure what the OIlers should do. They have a lot of issues.

You say that every team does it but that simply isn't the case. The Oiler's had done it in every game previous to this one and not gotten a call. It was far more egregious than what the Panther's did with Reinhart. That was the only occasion if I'm not mistaken where Florida attempted to show what they like to call "gamesmanship" the entire series. It was only after EDM did it int he previous 4 games.
This was the first season I’ve gotten into hockey in a more mindful way, and watching your channel has helped so much in that endeavor. Thank you for doing what you do!!

Then Panthers had much more depth. Are McDavid and Draisaitl better? yes. But they are just 2 guys trying to keep up the pace over a full series, it is just not possible. Also great coaching by the panthers and rat-Marchand, Trade-Deadline move of the century

That's a championship hockey IQ read. Kulak is fluttering to the top of the circle chasing. 23 was his man at that bad point. And Nurse can't figure out how to box out his guy (qgain). Just like Lundquist said, he couldn't have caught that on his off side. What was Skinner supposed to do keep squatting like he was when nobody was down low? 23 fired a high off speed shot. Another great read by 23. Only play he had was to put it in the corner by not touching it. Three breakdowns and one cosmonaut.
