Tavares to Utah would be AWESOME! It would be just what Utah needs. Get Tavares, draft a center like Desnoyers, then Desnoyers wouldn't have to be rushed.

Id love to see tavares in montreal, his projected aav is only $7M, for a 40 goal guy, who is really good on the draw. but then they'd really have to add some size.

JJ Peterka is NOT being traded. And as much as all the clowns out there saying he wants to be traded is all BS. He has said he doesn’t or hasn’t asked to be traded. So report that on your daily videos.
The thing with JJ he can want out all he wants. His agent can keep playing games. However if Buffalo just say No you are staying here we have control of you for 4 years. They can play hardball to the point he has to give in. He can go back to Europe to play and the Sabres can can him for 4 years. By then his NHL career is over. He is an RFA and just finished up his ELC he has very little control. And Unless there is an Offer sheet with 4 first picks. Buffalo will match.
So these teams that want JJ will need to pay the price for him. 1 rumor I am hearing is Rossi for JJ in a 1 for 1 trade which makes a lot of sense for Buffalo. The Dobson for JJ in a 1 for 1 also makes sense.
NYR really want JJ I have heard Lafreniere name as a part of that deal. I think it the Rangers add Schneider in the trade is done.
Any team that was JJ has to Pony up for him and that trade in some way has to hurt. Buffalo is under no pressure to get rid of JJ at all and JJ there is no way he will destroy his NHL career by going to Europe for 4 years. Every team understands this which is why you are hearing the Rangers are very willing to give Roster players for JJ. And if you don't think there is some what of a bidding war going on right now I got a bridge to no where to sell you.
I would much rather see Buffalo trade Power and resign Byram but Byram and Peterka want out.
