Charlie Smith’s 2-run blast is the first homer for the Flag City Sluggers this season in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League – baseball. Charlie is a rising Junior from Peachtree Corners, GA, and will play for Reinhardt College in Waleska, GA this fall. Charlie recently finished his Sophomore year at Southwest Tennessee Community College with a Batting Average of .351 (second best on the team) and an academic GPA of 4.0.
Charlie loves playing for the newly-formed Flag City Sluggers, and speaks highly of Coach Tyler Smith, and of Joe Fenimore, President and Founder of the team in Findlay.
