what’s up everybody Welcome to Confederacy of dunks the game [Music] show it’s always been a game show always will be a game show I’m your host Freddy Rivas here with uh host and uh co-host and producer Andy Hall hey what’s going on happy to be back on the game show hell yeah yeah it’s a game show and we are also here with uh contestant number one Matt mccre hello Matt wow I’m so happy to finally be on my favorite game show Confederacy of dunks yeah that’s right and here great hosting Freddy that’s right all right here as well is contestant number two Philip DS thank you for having me I even have the play home version of Confederacy of dunks the game show so really excited to be here yeah thank you thank you thank you uh okay um contestant Matt Philip are you ready no yes okay okay we’re like just to let you know as we all know uh we’re like Jeopardy we get to know you like a little bit into the show so don’t worry oh okay okay if you’re worried about like oh he didn’t even really talk to me at all he just wants to ask me questions right away it’s like no no no no that’s what they do in Jeopardy 2 and that’s a real game show totally this is a lot like Jeopardy you’ll see um so similar the way they got to phrase everything uh okay there’s music Jeopardy style we’re gonna start with quarter number one [Music] hle like most game shows the contestants do the sound effects for it I said artist the show say honk uh honk uh you know what who wants to go first Philip or Matt much like other game shows we ask you who wants to go first as yeah as a group question just take it away any of you uh I’ll take it yeah okay phip uh the category uh for quarter number one is find the Lefty so I’m going to give you a list of four players and you have to tell me who shoots with their left so uh caveat for this category many many ambidextrous players in the NBA um there’s only 342 uh players ever that have shot consistently with their left uh so yes here we go um uh got these in the little subcategories this is is uh this is Legends so here are your four options Philipe one Will Chamberlain two Bill Russell three Oscar Robertson or four Julius Irving which one of those guys shot with their left I’m they for some reason they all have similar energies and I was going to go off Vibes and they all have a very similar vibe that I will not elaborate on but I’m being on to Oscar Robertson Oscar Robertson uh worthy guess I’m afraid it is incorrect uh I mean I was gonna say like we we could open this up for steals but I think I’m just gonna gonna keep this train moving so uh much like other game shows the rules are not set the rules are very [ __ ] flexible they are yeah and if we get it wrong and if we get it wrong we’re not going to tell you what the answer is that’s right we’re going to steam right through this was Bill Russell Bill Russell shot with his left okay uh Matt mccre uh your category is uh recent first overall picks okay so uh we got uh number one DeAndre Aiden number two Zion Williamson number three Anthony Edwards or number four Cade Cunningham this is a trick question they’re all number one picks what’s the question sorry they’re all number one picks which one is the Lefty sorry the whole categories say you did say much like other game shows this one is confusing as hell yeah that’s right that’s right can you can you name them all again I’m so sorry that’s right so yes all all eight questions you’re looking for the left-handed or uh the the left-handed shooter uh but they’re subcategory so this one’s first overalls DeAndre Aon Zion asked about guys who for sure we’ve basketball we were not around when these guys were playing uh and and Matt known dra guy we get on the show to talk about drafts was asked recent number one picks much like other game shows this is absolutely not fair it is completely stacked give me dager six man of the years here we go phip your subcategory is old seems like it’s a bit of an overarch seems theme I’d like to active Okay um phip yeah who who out of these four players shoots with their uh with their left hand um one PJ Tucker Two Al Warford three Eric Gordon or four thus young damn I was really hoping much like Matt I’m pretty sure there’s one guy I can think of that I know sh’s left and he was not on there um I I was really drawn to PJ Tucker for some reason so I’m gonna say PJ Tucker PJ Tucker I’m afraid is incorrect the correct answer is former Raptor Fus young thatat is Young Thad you can really see him you can really see him going up with that left it’s so slow motion you know it’s such a weird shot yeah it’s a broken looking thing regardless uh Matt more recent draft picks you’re gonna know this one too oh wow thank you your your category is just Eastern European uh so uh we got one Bill Simmons would do good on this one oh yeah Bill Simmons would nail it um one uh a zubach zubac um two uh uh Nicolai vuich three Jonas valent chunis or four Yousef nurkic guts telling me nkit nkit I’m afraid is incorrect correct answer is zubach zubach a guy who’s never shot before in the NBA zubac the only player only left-handed player to never have taken a shot theoretically left-handed if he has to take a free throw he just doesn’t he tries to like knee it in like the soccer players when they’re like bouncing it up someone should do that I’ll take that I’m as a total which is exactly the average odds for just guessing blindly yeah it is and some are saying that you both have guessed blindly every time so you know what I mean maybe the Zion was a little bit more of an educated one it sounded like but okay I made it pretty hard dunkoff winners one well you should have known by last week when we were talking about Lefty players all of us can only name dun winners I was ready to like write off Vince Carter or something it just narrow my odds a bit but no Freddy doesn’t build questions like that he makes them very hard what hand did hamu Dio play basketball primarily what color are James Harden’s laces uh I I’m drawn to uh afy Anon Simmons uh Anthony Simons I’m afraid it is incorrect Jones Jr you didn’t know that you didn’t know that it’s been a while since I’ve watched get with it man you haven’t memorized the 342 left-handed players sorry you don’t remember the dunk contest where it’s guys you didn’t know which on by my mispronouncing his name yeah I was looking through a lot of dunk offs and there’s a surprising amount of of guys especially recently who were like whoa whoa what uh you in this thing um oh the thing where they have to bring a g leager in to win yeah it’s happening more and more yeah uh right Matt this is uh just generic white Shooters oh another Bill Simmons category keep feeding them to me you can tell you can tell how difficult this category is because of how deep Freddy had to go for players you’ll see uh here we go Matt here we go yeah well well listen some of them what got confusing is it would pull up it’s like they can they can lay it up with they’re left I’m like I hope so so I I actually had to watch some highlights for some of these guys not these guys oh wow um so Matt uh number one Gordon it he’s a famous Lefty it’s him and the do so this when you said Thunder I thought you were gonna say Dan Marley is one of the uh options which would have been aun Dan Marley Nick CIS thundering Dan Marley was Dan Marley’s nickname not Thunder Dan Thunder Marley Am I Wrong oh maybe it was I just assumed I don’t know he played for the superponics or something at some point this is the type of trivia that I’m good at this is the type oh I should have went ancient nicknames oh that is fun you played for the Suns for so long it’s another weather phenomena was his nickname yeah probably will makes sense I like it I so I just want to be I do just want to be clear uh Freddy you went and looked at the list of uh alltime left-handed NBA players you saw the most famous ones on there and you were like move over you’re like nope not included foret a little bit of behind the curtain thing uh here for me I thought like you know the man of job the David Robin too easy not for me no I thought yeah fair enough okay you know what Joe jingl and Joe Engles though you got it right Jing and Joe uh no to be I’m just messing with you because you did you did include Harden and like Bill Russell who like if you’re an old head you know Bill Russell I didn’t know that I thought he might be left-handed because he was like so bad at L like he shot like 38% from the field I thought maybe he was one of those left-handed guys that they would always make right right-handed because he’s so old you know MH right like in that era you wer allowed to yeah yeah that makes when you’re in the bank you got to use your right hand I don’t know why it’s Bank specific but you gotta look professional you gota professional okay so this one guys a little more creative you know on this show we have comedians improvisers so we wanted to lean into some of those skills and this is a little bit more of a subjective round here we’re not going to be so uh it’s not so cut and dry uh one are some are saying it’s not really based on your basketball knowledge at all uh in fact this one is a little more based on your love of Arby’s that’s right that’s right our friends uh our contestants joining us today Matt and Philipe are big Arby’s guys um they love an Arby’s combo they love Horsey Sauce they love the roast they love the they love a wet roast beef sandwich let’s just how they feel make it soggy baby right you’re saying with the tone of a gag but these just said you’re like yes correct yes yeah you better curl those fries up my man because that’s how I like them uh and and more power to you guys so here’s what we’re going to do we’re going to go uh we’re going to take our um our leader which is Matt and we’re going to give him the um I’m going to give you the choice between two players and then I’ll reveal to you what you’re doing with those players the choices are bronny James and Pat Bev who’s your pick oh you know gotta go I’m a guy who likes an old guy give me Pat B baby okay so work his way to the top BR hat was handed everything man I love throws balls at Women’s heads Wicked um so absolute perfect guy pz my idol uh a lot of Arby’s guys say the same thing um okay what you’re going to do is you have one minute on the clock to sell us on the new Arby’s combo inspired by Pat Bev are you ready it’s like they do when like McDonald’s well they do like the celebrity combo like what’s going to be in there tell us all about it tell us the tie-in you have one minute to do so starting now boom this is the type of combo that you can only get in the Drive-Thru baby we’re talking the Arby’s Pat Beth you pull you don’t even talk to the person you just pull up right right to the window and you scream give it to me you keep that window down because they’re going to Chuck that combo right through your window and if it lands on your face you get it for free and if it doesn’t you have to pay them $200 American dollars it doesn’t matter if you have a debit card because we’re only accepting cash because riding in the backseat of your car will be jingling Joe Engles that’s right he’s hitching a ride all across Canada he’s going to be eating your Pat B Burger what’s on that burger absolutely nothing nothing Pat B sees you don’t deserve any sort of meats Pat Bev will be at home with a pile of meats all from your burger and $200 does it go to charity hell no it goes whatever designed by whatever you want to do by bronnie James timer Starts Now sure yeah so for decades the debate has raged joh who is the greatest of all time who is your goat is it curly fries is it crinkle cut fries some people like Classics some people like something new with a bit of a Twist literally in that case well what if I told you that the curly fries now comes with curly fries Jor it’s there sometimes it doesn’t do a whole lot but you you get it at the same time and it’s it’s kind of a great story because curly fries has already done so much for us so many people see curly fries as they’re go you can get loaded curly fries curly fries is one everywhere it goes whether it’s Arby whether it’s Sonic you get curly fries and you know it’s going to be a win in combination but curly fries Junior here’s now too and that just feels good doesn’t it curly PR Jr order it today wow wow love it great job brought in Sonic brought in Sonic cly Fri Jor my goat but little so wait just just to be clear as someone that I guess still needs to learn more about our Arby’s um is there so curly fries this is a smaller curly fries just small curly Fri it’s just curly fries but smaller and significantly worse yeah so is it like one fry or is it like does it is it does it curl like is it no it’s straight it’s a straight curly it’s developing into being Curly it’s not hot enough to curl yet no no it has not been it has not been deep fried yet should have you know stayed a little bit long in in oven college and it did not it it hasn’t developed quite how we hoped well I absolutely love these I I think these are each five out of fives I give them a perfect score each one of them uh but uh as he did a lot I give an extra three-point from downtown to jingling Joe angles again back so that you do get an extra hit off of the uh the Joe Engles mention as uh who knew that that would be the theme of the very first I mean sorry the ongoing Confederacy of dunks game show so I got eight points and Freddy or Philip got five that’s correct yeah oh wow it’s 12 high scoring round 12 to seven high scoring round everything can change because there’s like many other game shows the rules are not set the scoring there is no standard for how the scoring Works uh like go we’re slowly chiseling away our own Stakes this next round is worth 500 points each uh okay this is a this is a fun round because this is one where much like other game shows in the past uh we take one of our host and we inject them right into the action so that’s right guys Freddy will be playing this round as a contestant with you trying to steal answers from you so you’re trying desperately to get these correct answers and instead Freddy will be the one who is uh who who’s trying to steal them so here’s how this is going to work I’m going to give you might call me Joe Engles oh no oh Noles guys I gotta log off man I cannot play with this guy um here’s how it’s gonna work uh so I’m going to give you guys uh um I’m going to give you guys three players you’re going to you’re going to rank them in in the category that they’re in it’s like Freddy’s they’re all the same category it’s just different players um if uh whoever gets them right like three out of three you get points however Freddy gets more or the same amount right as you you don’t score any okay so he potentially three out of three he potentially each one is potentially three points but Freddy can steal those points away from you if he also gets them right and do we write these down it’s the honor System is that the um it’s just we’ve seen uh the the biggest baddest bestest player of all time pop up a lot in the news these days LeBron is all over the place um and surprisingly not so much of it as about bronnie which is nice to see uh this uh this past week specifically he was really bigging up his other teammates uh uh he really was was having a a go at that and that was really nice to see nice to see the grizzled vet uh do that for his teammates so I thought why don’t we talk about some of LeBron’s former teammates in fact I want to I want to start talking about his teammates that he has played the most games with so what I’m going to do guys is I’m going I’m going to list three players and I’d like you to rank them in the of games that they’ve played with LeBron James so first will be the if you think that players had the most you put him at the top and so on um okay so we’ll we’ll start off with uh um players who’ve played 400 or more games with LeBron James there are only three players who’ve done it I will tell you tell you the names you guys order them correctly and then we’ll see who gets it okay here’s the three players we have Anderson verou zrus osus big Z and James Jones wow those three players have played over 400 games with LeBron James please order them from most to least and there’s where I’ll put it music in or maybe I’ll just talk for a bit I have mine ready yeah great when you’re ready great okay I’m gonna cheat so let’s go to let’s go to Philipe first here uh Philipe what is your ranking of these three players okay so I’m going with big Z first because he’s got a cool nickname so he must hung around for a while yeah I mean they all hung around for a while as we’ve established uh and then Vero and then Jones the last okay all right admirable picks there Matt what about you one question one clarifying question that I should have asked before is it games that they’ve both played in or were they both on the roster together um I think it’s games with they’ve at least been on I use a website and I did not put in specific criteria okay okay okay basketball Ms didn’t turn up the answer I’m pretty sure I do actually know the answer and I’m pretty sure it’s players uh uh that were at least on the bench while LeBron was there playing okay then I in that case I’ll put James Jones number one uh elgus number two and Veria number three okay okay all right interesting and Freddy what are your picks well we all have uh different orders because I got Joe Engles Joe Engles and Joe oh wow Freddy going way off the map of this one uh for a Hail Mary I got I got uh Jones number one number two Anderson verou and three zunis elus okay well Freddy’s not going to going to be stealing points this round because Philipe is the only one who got it exactly right for phip big Z has 641 games played with LeBron the most by far next is verel with 499 and James Jones with 401 oh W thre me with James Jones I gotta be honest because he was like the LeBron guy followed him around that’s that’s what I thought too but I think it’s because he didn’t play in the games and I think I think Ed’s wrong and I think me and you are right Freddy [Laughter] uh well again I I could see the criter like I could kind of see what they had picked for it and it’s like I could choose on bench or just like on team you know what I mean like on I think you’re right I I was I was just busting balls was selected so anyways okay uh okay actually yeah okay anyways never mind uh whatever the thing is this is what it is all right that’s the that’s the new that’s the Mantra of this game show uh okay we got a next one the next category is um Hall of Famers allers guys who are either going to the hall or perhaps they’re uh uh they’re already in there so um these are some these are the three names I’ll read them out to you you put them in the order first Chris Bosch second Kyrie Irving and Third Dwayne Wade one two and three who has played the most with our boy LeBron James you guys remember remember that vine LeBron James LeBron James LeBron James that was good James head was that the whole time I making this trivia local uh Toronto improviser Carly Thorne in her High School uh saying LeBron James like that got banned because people are just yelling at in class too much that’s crazy because that’s my high school whoa Carly and I went to the same High School 10 years apart okay that’s awesome uh that makes me feel great about myself so let’s get into this one uh Matt you this time you will start us off what’s your ranking for the uh Bosch Irving Wade well get ready to copy me guys because I got it right we got Wade at number one BOS at number two and Kyrie at number three okay all right Philipe what about you I took that exact same order makes sense Freddy what about you I didn’t but now I am uh no I also had that order okay so that if you all got the same order that means no one scores points in the round no matter what happens but you all were correct for the for the record it is Dwayne Wade with 371 Chris Boss with 356 and Kyrie with 235 I knew it see you got to you got to give him some easy ones once in a while but don’t worry we’ve got more difficult ones coming your way uh for example the next round is former Raptor yeah yeah uh stay tuned right after this sentence okay here we are um uh okay the next one is former Raptors going to give you three former Raptors names you give me uh the order in which they played Le with LeBron James first on the list here is Jose Calderone second is Anthony Parker and third Jamario Moon whoa Moon cool shout I’ll tell you this each one of them has played at least 60 games with LeBron James wow which was kind of surprising to me and LeBron James personally traded all three of them heed they be traded and he was right to do so but clearly someone on C someone at in the front office uh in the Cavs front office at this time was like hey what about that very mediocre Raptor scene hey what about that team that LeBron always humiliate yeah turn our team into their team uh I do think that Anthony Parker’s one first year in Toronto is one of the all-time underrated Raptor Seasons he was so good that first year he’s one of my favorite Raptors of all time yeah um okay Freddy let’s let’s let’s let you go first this time who do you who have you got here what’s your order I’m gonna go Anthony Parker um uh Jose calron Jamario Moon my interesting okay Matt what about you I unfortunately have the same order it would have been fun to switch it up seeing Freddy just steals my point so there’s no chance of me getting points by copying him uh but yeah I had Parker one Calderon 2 and moon three it was kind of a wild guess though okay F uh I had Calderon first and then Moon and then Parker ah I have Parker way lower ranked than you have Parker lower ranked and that would be incorrect cuz Freddy got it right and so did Matt it’s Parker Calderon Moon Anthony Parker with 87 games Jose with 70 and Jamario moon with 66 games played with LeBron James wow uh you love to see it though I just love to see any Jamario Moon reference personally yeah that H rebound come on I was gonna bring up I was going to bring up the rebound [Applause] St and F that’s so funny we always bring up the rebound I love when like medium decent players have one highlights that everyone the Phantom is like oh yes it’s my favorite if you watch basketball for a long time you that rebound sticks out because rarely has anyone else ever jumped that high it’s just he’s just so insanely high for a freaking rebound it’s awesome when he did the dunk contest he put that tape behind the free throw line and then did a free throw line dunk with two hands which no one had ever done in the dunk contest they’re like yeah but you went past the tape four out of 10 it’s like he just shot himself in the foot so bad amazing go play for the scarbo shooting stars uh okay this is where we start to get a little more gessy perhaps because now we’re dealing with uh it’s this category is called LeBron James will play with your kids um and it is because these are all the children of other basketball players and actually yeah so so this is so how many games played uh does LeBron have with these children of basketball players so I’m I’m going to give you four because I am going to throw well actually I don’t know how up to date it is so let’s not do it I was going to throw bronie in there but actually let’s not do it because I don’t know how up to date the stuff is um so let’s go Scotty Pippen Jr Mike Dunley and Larry Nance Jr how many games not how many games sorry uh what’s the order of most played to least played with LeBron James um okay yeah yeah we yeah I’ll talk about a second okay all right uh let’s go back to Philipe for this one um what do what what do we like who do we think has played the most with with LeBron on here all right I went Nance then dun leevy and then I have Pippen last okay Matt what about you I also have Nance dun leevy Pippen okay and what about Freddy I have dun Ley Nance Pippen okay so I guess you both score three points which is the same as scoring nothing you two got it right but not Freddy Fred humiliated uh okay but uh yeah it’s Larry N J with 44 Mike D leave with 21 and anyone can anyone want to Harbor a guess for Scotty Pippin Jr I was guessing would be like four or something yeah something low six it’s three very close very close it’s three yeah and according to basketball reference uh bronnie is six but then I saw somewhere else that it was more than that but maybe they’re counting preseason anyways we won’t get into it uh finally we have the category of oh yeah they played with LeBron James uh and so these are three like otherwise pretty notable players but hamedo a lot of people would be like oh yeah they played with LeBron James you didn’t necessarily forget you just don’t think about it super often okay so rank these in in uh in order of a number of games played um Greg Odin oh yeah Antoine Jameson I knew Jameson was gonna come up and Derrick Rose Classic all over the league guy Derrick Rose former MVP Derrick Rose of course probably the person or definitely the person who stopped LeBron James from winning five MVPs in a row yeah he had that middle MVP bit of a fraudulent award which when you look back what to say when you look back at those stats you’re like why did he win it yeah like why didn’t LeBron win five it’s like even Dwight was better that year there there’s a weird two-year uh Chicago bias because yo uh jokim Noah was fourth in MVP voting the next year crazy wow wild that’s nuts I love I love that’s insane that’s a wild wild wild little bit of trivia there yeah it’s like when you find out PESA sto yakovich was third in MVP voting one year it’s just crazy yeah that’s silly yeah it’s wild um just takes a good narrative and then they get it’s true it’s true just build that story you know get get out get those Billboards out for Oscar season you never know right uh okay this is the last one and then I have a bonus question uh but the LA this is the last one with the um and then uh Derek Rose uh number two and uh poor Greg Odin number three poor Greg Odin indeed uh okay Philipe what about you when guessing Fest games I’ll always put Greg Oden number three us pretty smart smart guess that’s funny I uh I went in the opposite direction and I went Odin number one still playing in Phil mine yeah I basically went how much do I remember these guys playing with LeBron and Odin I was like yeah of course play with LeBron Rose I was like I remember that but not the thing I would go to so I had him second and then Jameson I genuinely didn’t remember so I had him third okay so you had you had Odin rose jam okay and Freddy what about you I had Jameson Rose and Odin oh God damn it Freddy no one scores here because you guys have the same answers which I guess is what’s going to happen when you have only three to choose from maybe we’ll tweak this a bit for next time uh the correct answer although nobody got it right uh the correct answer is Antoine Jameson with 31 games played Greg Odin with 24 and Derrick Rose with only 16 so there you go yeah I I I remember like now that it’s it’s one of those things it was just like this for me where like I saw their names on the list I was like oh yeah I remember when an James played with LeBron James oh yeah I remember Derrick Rose I did not know uh Greg Odin I just didn’t know that he was with the heat um okay but here’s the bonus question so this one we will have to like write down if if you know it it’s it’s it might be pretty tough I don’t know we’ll see uh but this is a this is a hard one but it’s a tell to tell everybody how Stephen Adams stays so strong okay the name of the story is how Stephen Adams stays so strong okay Stephen Adams stays Strong by lifting so many people over his head in games that’s how Florence about lifting Stephen Adams knows many other facts like Pluto is not H Planet so he knows so many things time up lost the plot there he lives people during games and he knows a lot of facts what’s the problem he’s mentally strong close-minded that it’s just very good very good so uh Matt did and real real talk though did you know Stephen Adams has a uh Olympic medalist uh sibling and also a Paro Olympic uh medalist sibling oh I did not know that what do you know what one of 18 kids that sounds not real Is that real yeah yeah it’s like some it’s definitely like somewhere around there maybe it’s 12 18 I’m not impressed now because if I had 18 siblings I’d assume at least one of them had Olympic medal as well like just you’re going off odds at that point like yeah yeah 18 kids in counting like those one of those is going to be a medalist and something you know skeleton at least like one of those Sports no one competes in like come on yeah read uh Adams Wikipedia page you’ll be it’s a he’s got a crazy story that’s absolutely nut his father okay this is wild his father’s crazy father settled in New Zealand he was born in uh Bristol he settled in New
