  1. What a gentleman. A coach for the ages… Paul Maurice. He is a legit ambassador for my favorite, beloved game. Hockey. Congratulations.

  2. Hope he wears another shirt made by his daughter at the parade. The one with their family cat as the Panther face was perfect.

  3. If Florida keeps everybody, be afraid. Be very afraid. They are a talented machine which only a coach and his staff can create and keep running.

  4. This coach has his players back much like a father to a son or daughter. Tough when he needs to be but in a very loving way.

  5. This team can teach others sports a thing or two about selflessness and zero aggrandizement.

  6. I'm happy for Paul, his words at the 8 min mark are heavy. The way things ended in Winnipeg, with how the team internally was a mess, mostly due to a problematic captain.. it was probably why Paul felt burned out. He was tuned out. To go from that to a group of guys that respect and support the hell out of each other. Man, that's gotta feel good.

  7. Hearing him talk about little details he observed about other players on other teams he coached against, then he goes out and gets said players to be a cog in the machine on the Panthers. Congrats to my Panthers!!

  8. The Panthers management deserves so much credit. They are able to identify players that will fit into their game. They also create a great culture for players.
