These guys are way off. They should bring Tavares back, and if they keep his AAV down by giving him a longer contract, it's an excellent idea in a world where the cap is escalating the way it is. Unless we're getting another pandemic, it's the right strategy.

John Tavares is not the problem and has never been the problem. He does all the little things well and makes strong contributions offensively. If you can get him on a reasonable cap hit, resign him
