A player is worth what another team will pay to get him. In this case the market is saying that's all Zegras is worth at this time. Flyers will be a good place for Trevor to re-set his career.

What gets me here in this trade is Montreal couldn't pull the trigger on this guy yet the Flyers do and with Ryan Poehling of all people. I mean Poehling use to be a HABS and we dumped him in a trade to Pittsburg and he really hasn't produced all that much. Wasn't Anaheim asking for the moon in a trade for Zegras earlier lol…Poehling and a couple low end picks wow just wow.
I don’t like the idea of getting Marner I’d prefer Jason Robertson! 😊
Low risk and high reward for the flyers. If he can put it together the Flyers get a top 6 forward and if he flops, he walks after the season. Flyers still own 3 2nd rd picks this year and Poehling is a nice 4th line center.

The Flyers just got fleeced by the Ducks. It was a bad trade even up, but Philadelphia throws in 2 draft picks too? Zegras is a 'soft' injury prone player. Poehling is an effective 3rd line center who'll thrive with the Ducks.

Zegras is softer than soft serve ice cream. Flyers didn’t have to gamble much though. Hopefully Tocchet and company can toughen up Mr. Ten Ply.
