hey everyone welcome to Kempner Conucks tonight we are talking about the Calder Cup finals it’s continuing back to Charlotte for game six what a game what a series uh do the Abbasford Canucks have what it takes to win the cup in Charlotte it was too bad that they didn’t win tonight in overtime we’re going to talk about that we’re also going to talk about how this affects the big club with the Vancouver Conucks uh so stay tuned i’m going to hit the promo and we’re going to get right into it so glad you’re here [Music] [Music] hey everyone my name is Rev Trev uh so glad that you’re at uh Kempner Conucks and we if you were at the game tonight I was supposed to I was talking about going to the game with Japan 4 and Kucks uncensored Jordan and Whitten but it didn’t end up happening i thought I was on the mainland this weekend it wasn’t this weekend it’s going to be next weekend and we were supposed to be there we were planning on being there then it didn’t it all fell apart at the last minute all because of me as it’s all my fault it’s all my fault but man it would have been awesome to see that and I thought today we were going to win i I literally thought the Vancouver Conucks farm team the AHL team Abbottzford Canucks baby were going to win the Calder Cup for the first this is the first time they’ve ever been to the CER Cup what an exciting thing if you went to the game post in the comments whether you’re watching this in the live stream or later on post in the live stream uh or in the comments later that if you were at the game tell me what it was like because I would have absolutely loved to have been there it would have been fantastic and fun and man you know uh FOMO tonight for sure but um had my son’s basketball tournament this weekend and uh didn’t want to miss that so I know family first everyone family first but man this absurd team now in my opinion watching overtime I thought we should have won we absolutely should have won max Assassins hits and Max Assassin hits the post in OT beats the goalender no problem hits the post and then the back breaker of the goal is Parvy with like some Are you kidding me i know that there’s dirty goals or not dirty goals or ugly goals ugly goals dirty goals whatever they’re called in overtime but this was absolutely ridiculous everyone so dumb so dumb literally goes off to our defenseman skates and in and um Sheila just played fantastic and amazing and awesome and all those things all those things so it it’s disappointing we lost we should have won we in my opinion we were the better team absolutely better team i don’t know what do you think am I out to lunch am I being biased here post in the comments what you thought what a game what a series um Callum is here and he says “Kucks will find a way.” Absolutely uh Tyler from Line Change says “The game ending that the way it did.” Yeah I know it’s It’s frustrating russell from Nothing is Perfect is here good to see you doing well man how are you doing um but Sassin hitting the post you’re right oh my goodness i thought it was over looked like the second Kuck inadvertently kicked his skate out and went in oh my goodness but Eugene has great perspective here just think of the experience they are getting i’m so proud of them they have been in every game checkers are a good team it’s a good series i thought it was going to end tonight sucks that we got to go to Charlotte it It really really does so uh I don’t know when game six is everyone can someone post in the comments when game six and seven are scheduled for uh I I keep trying to find it it’s hard to find it on the site you got to go to like three different spots and it’s like it should be at the top just like all the other ones should be but it’s not it’s not and tonight I want to I want to definitely get to that place where we’re going to talk about how it affects our big club how it affects our big club but man I think Eugene your point right now is just so valid because if you think about it not only are the Checkers a good team but the experience that both sets of these teams now Florida the Checkers the Charlotte Checkers are Florida’s farm team they just won the Stanley Cup yeah if they win back-to back cups in the same year and no back-toback cups and then win the caller cup in the same year to their second championship as the Florida Panthers it would that’ be terri awesome for them terrible for everyone else vancouver Kox Farm Club Abbottzford proudly Abbottzford used to live in Abbisford went there for lived there for four years uh those people are good people be great to see them win it all wouldn’t you wouldn’t you love to see it so um Tyler says “I forgot my Abby at work blame it on me you forgot your Abby.” What’s that mean um Russell says “Monday at 400 PM.” Oh you forgot your Abby hat at work yeah thanks a lot game six is on Monday 400 p.m though woo that’s going to be early i got I’m I got to go to work and uh I’ll be able to off I’ll be able to watch it later so um yeah I saw this too i saw this too so uh they’ve they’ve gone back to PS Sudter and they’ve also engaged in contract talks extension talks with Garland Kox have he wants to resign we that’s all great news for us absolutely great news okay i keep thinking about this Abbasford team and I think about this what if we just to fix the Canucks the Vancouver Canucks what if we just brought some of the Absur guys and just said “This is it we’re going to just combine the two forces and we’re going to go all in these guys are getting playoff experience.” Listen the playoff experience is NHL experience in my opinion like I know it’s not the same you’re not playing a Veetchkin and and uh McDavid and all those guys every night but it I mean the intensity the battles it’s very similar to what you would see in an NHL regular season game so I don’t know i’m not saying it’s the same but it feels the same how’s that how’s that okay I want to dive into what this team would look like so I’ve made this team on Puckedia okay and I want to talk to us about how we can put these two teams together combine our forces and get into uh get into this okay so I’m going to show you what I have so far and I need your help on it that’s why I need you here tonight everyone so as you can see this is the roster right now okay this is the roster right now this is what any trades any free agents what would you be happy with this now I I had to I had to add some uh contracts in here to um to make it work but this is where we’re at oh I need a I need a third goalie i need a third goalie which is Sheilaw’s and I need Where’s Sheila’s goalie right here okay we’re going to go to the third goalie we’re going to put him here okay so this is what the team looks like right now everyone de Brusk Elias Patterson Jonathan Leer Macki on the top line this is what I have you got Hog Glender Heedle and Connor Garland by the way I’ve been yawning tonight i I only had a few hours sleep last night it’s It’s been a full weekend so I do apologize for the yawning okay so as we look into this Oh I should move it like this so you can see it even better than that okay I’ll move it up just a bit so you can see my face a little bit better okay not that you want to see my face but kind of makes it more interesting right everyone so what do you guys think about this lineup this lineup so you got Hoglander on the second line maybe maybe we put Joshua there and Hoglander there what do you guys think about these lines or this or here or Baines like what does this team look like to you are you happy with it i think the answer is no but what if some of these guys like um do I have Sammy BL on here i can’t find Sammy on this list where is he assassin like assassin’s there too right like let’s let’s bring him up here okay let’s bring him up here okay so these are the guys you get to play with uh Sammy Blade I don’t know why I don’t have him on this list why is he not an option that’s what I want to know cuz right here he’s not in these is he why am I blind as a bat no no no where is Sammy sammy is not on this list i want to I want to put Sammy in the top end with all these guys i think in all honesty the the defense are just they’re set okay they’re absolutely set and this is where you you save money and just see what the guys can do and and these are the guys I would put Sammy Bl as the right winger there i don’t know it looks pretty good the fifth right right winger would be Sammy Bl um okay so you guys are saying you guys are saying maybe because he signed as a Abby player only i think BL only has a one-way contract that might be why he’s not on there yeah it doesn’t make any sense to me um yeah I I’ve talked about Tyler about this at so many times that there’s there’s got to be we got to nail a couple more of these like these bargain bin free agents the the Lincoln and Sherwoods upcoming offseason i believe that management can do this okay by the way 62 people are in here hit the like and subi subscribe everyone um but they should get him a two-way contract for sure yes absolutely absolutely okay so he can only play Absford right now where would you have it cuz like maybe Sammy Blade is Kefir Sherwood so there’s another guy there’s another guy there um and if you look at it a little closer Carlson can play center or right wing you have there’s no PS there’s like there’s Baines this is these guys right here these four guys right here plus soccer so five six guys all can jump into the lineup now and I know a lot of you will look at this lineup and say this is not a playoff lineup I mean losing Miller was massive maybe we add a free agent or two I’m not I I think it like Rosie uh no Rossi is um that was close to being done so he maybe is the number two center i don’t know what do you guys think this is uh this is pretty interesting i I like like this is the future and the present right this is where we’re at this is where we’re at i would love to hear your thoughts on this so [Music] yeah I you you’ve been pumping out a ton of content Tyler well done out there um yeah there’s some there’s some interesting players there so yeah I think if we just have some per persistence uh we we might be able to get some of this on there so I don’t know this team looks pretty solid i don’t I think one of these three goalies I I think we’re losing one of these three goalies whether it’s to um waiverss to trade to LTI we’re going to lose one of these three goalies well we won’t lose him if he’s LTI dumpo is but yeah this team like we got to find a way could you imagine if this was your roster and you were able to play with these guys and compete and win games it’d be exciting wouldn’t it carlson didn’t look like that great but I’m telling you he looks fantastic now i think all this experience is helping him maybe Carlson ends up playing Person and De Brusk maybe you know what I mean i I don’t know i would really like to put Heedle in the middle or in the on the wing so it’s it’s one of those things okay man I am yawning so much okay why did I do that what do you guys think what do you guys think so it it’s Abbottzford’s experience is just in my opinion just adding to the excitement not only of Abbottzford but uh the Lower Mainland but the whole Vancouver organization this is this is phenomenal and if you watch these AHL games you’re watching not only playoff hockey but it it is gritty i don’t like all the rough stuff after every single whistle that’s kind of annoying but I do like the hitting the never say die atmosphere and all that kind of stuff so there’s there’s I I don’t know if that lineup right now looks the way it’s going to look and everyone keeps saying Jet Woo needs to come up and I’m like I just don’t see him at this stage being an NHLer i see him as a great AHLer her ro same kind of deal um but man she loves Baines Assassin Leer Mackey um Kleachev as well uh that’s a that’s a great option and I feel like I’m missing who Who am I missing who did I who did I have there i had Sassin carlson oh yeah carlson sassin Baines leer Mackey and Sheilovs and Sammy Blle man that’s a pretty good team guys and obviously I’ve just depleted this i I got to I’ve got to sign uh to Pilo let’s just give him uh two years one uh $1.1 million contract okay we’ll sign him we’re going to sign Jet Woo let’s give him N let’s give him 87500 Z two years okay we’re going to bring him back to Nate Smith we’re going to do uh 775 Two years i love Cole Ward i’m going to give him 700,000 though okay two years oh dang it can’t do it can’t do them all oh there’s Jet Woo right there jet Root Woo how do you do non-rostered players okay Jet Woo is down to here he’s a right-handed shot D right so we want there there um toilo comes down to there he Tai Young is going to be in uh the ECHL and who else am I oh I forgot Forbert forbert as well dang i’m going to have to bring I don’t know if Sheila’s going to work it down there clay’s there we got that where did Where did Nate Smith go uh not Nagege Smith what am I doing talking about okay right here can I get these other guys in here harros 700,000 see no oh it must be at least 775 okay we’re going to do McWard 775 man I don’t I got issues everyone that way uh Riley Patterson we’re going to do 775 and we’re going to bring these boys in uh Romani we’re going to do that and is there is there someone else that we need to sign let me know okay we’re bringing him in we’re bringing him in he is a S i didn’t know he was a center that’s cool um Herros down here and I took Mcard who I love love this guy he’s fantastic okay so did I like Aman comes back down here guys this is what we’re talking about ty Mueller Riley Patterson Romani comes down we got lots of like there’s still lots of life down here everyone lots of life yeah so there we are this is this is the this is the the team potential team one of these guys is going to go down maybe Sassinid ends up going back down you know so now you got Assassin uh did I Amont down here let’s go bring him over here there’s all kinds of players that going to be down here you know you know what I’m saying guys probably Baines is going to start the season down right here and there we are actually Baines is up on the top line with this this is the top line okay David W says “The NHL Canucks are sure could use some youth big questions for the next season include for the NHL Canucks Elias Person the center EP40 of which Demco and she loves to keep and of which yeah we talked about that in the last video which goalie to trade um Beer Baron who could the Canucks select at the for the 15 picked there’s there’s a number of players and let me just bring it up uh while I’m here Elite go to Elite Prospects i like these guys i like what they do um NHL draft guide no I want to go Oops no no no no no no i want to do this how does this work not draft guide i don’t want the draft guide draft center that’s what we got okay my apologies going to bring this up okay just for for sake of everything that’s going to be there here’s draft center coming up right now and I’m This is the consolidated but I’m going to do Let’s just go to eliterospects.com okay this is what So we’re 15th this is where we’re at so I don’t think we’re going to get a defenseman coats could be there uh maybe Brady Martin he’s going going up the draft board if Fondell somehow we can get Fondell but this is my thing this is my thing beer Baron I don’t think that this we are going to be picking here i I honestly think that this is this is um this is not going to we are not going to get a center or sorry we are not going to get a pick because we’re going to trade our pick we almost traded it already to get uh Rossi so but yes Coats is a centerman most likely at 15 roland says “You’re right.” Dave Debut says “I can’t think of a Canadian NHL team that doesn’t have a player with a contract that expires later this month.” One of those is the Habs goalie oh really who started last season in the NHL hey Trev that must be nice that they got the baby conucks one over the baby for the Yeah baby Conucks versus Baby Panthers congratulations to them just want to know your opinion yeah I I thought they were going to win tonight they didn’t end up winning uh David W says Lavel Rocket and worked his way up to to parent club getting to see Stanley Cup playoff action after Sam in game three yep went down to injury yeah it’s crazy isn’t it um so this is where it’s at i don’t think we’re going to we’re going to draft in the first round everyone i literally like if Rondell is there I don’t think he’s going to be like let’s just go to um Bob McKenzie’s top 32 okay and here it is okay bob McKenzie’s who’s at so Brady Martin is a guy that we’d love he has Fondell going number five overall carter Bear is there from the Everett Silver tips uh Garbanet or Garbano carbono these are the players right here i’d be surprised if we went defenseman i think we’re going to go center coats is still there later on there’s a lot going on there’s a lot going on yeah so there there’s so much going on with these Kucks of ours the Abbaser Kucks the the the Vancouver Conucks it’s going to be very interesting i think there’s going to be a trade happening in the next few days oh man there’s going to be lots um I’m going to call it a night i got a I got tons of stuff going on tomorrow i need to call it an early night but I really really um excited but Roland I want to answer this question we’re trading the pick who’s the player in that package it’s It’s Marco um uh Rossi from the Minnesota Wild they already offered the 15th pick and it was declined some believe a number of people believe it was a play a roster player and our 15th pick and they declined we will see so oh my goodness Murray it’s freezing in New Zealand oh I’m sorry to hear that hey that means
