He should hold off signing with the Oilers to see how committed they are to making the team better around him.
I think he needs to leave and go to another year for a couple of years then decide if he will rejoin after the cap has raised back up and the oilers need to trade him if they get near the deadline and trade him for a ton that would build the team like crazy and have mcdavid sign for a year or two at the place he goes to for a young superstar
