Oilers fans should be worried…

  1. Who cares. where Connie goes. He's obviously not good enough to bring the Cup north of the border. So who really cares what team he plays on.

  2. I mean Ive been saying this but if he really wants a Stanley cup, what other team is he going to? If you haven’t won the cup in the last 2 years how much closer can you get than the Oilers? I think the Oilers definitely have some improving to do, but if they made it This far without some of these improvements , theyre only getting better from here.

  3. I've been saying for awhile now that if McDavid doesn't win a cup with the Oilers he's on borrowed time with them, I've been trying to warn people

  4. obviously too young to remember 1987. Yes Gretzky and us were crying when he was sold like a piece of meat to Los Angeles

  5. cryptic messaging from McD!! he will be going back east … probably Toronto maple laughs…. He needs to win cup there ; over 50> year drought… it only makes sense… get over it OILER SAD FANS… HE is Leaving !!

  6. Do the Oilers give him a good chance of winning? or does he give the Oilers a good chance of winning? I think if he signs elsewhere he can make a mediocre team into a contender before the ink dries. He should hold off signing with the Oilers to see how committed they are to making the team better around him.

  7. I think he needs to leave and go to another year for a couple of years then decide if he will rejoin after the cap has raised back up and the oilers need to trade him if they get near the deadline and trade him for a ton that would build the team like crazy and have mcdavid sign for a year or two at the place he goes to for a young superstar

  8. Oilers have waated 10 yrs of mcdavids career, he doesnt owe the organization anything. He should look out for himself and family

  9. I agree with those that say he is not leaving. Short term contract with guaranteed conditions before he signs. 1st condition a real goalie. Hard to find? Yes. Skinner needs to go or be the backup
Going forward with this current team, will get the same result. No cup

  10. Edmonton could get Andersen (1 yr left) for the cup window as starter, Pickard backup and Gamzin, who just had a breakout year in the KHL as a up-and-coming 3rd

  11. if there is a goalie that keeps the door shut, McD might want to trade his own salary for the goalie's salary 😀

  12. Edmonton trading McDavid would be just as—if not more—shocking as the Avs trading Rantanen.

  13. He's never been that stoked on being in Edmonton. In every interview where he has been asked how he likes living in Edmonton, he says "it's ok…."

  14. McDavid and Drai, seriously need players to back them up and for the love of god PLEASE get him a good goalie and some solid Defensive structure.

  15. I think Connor crybabies need to turn on their pathetic excuse of a waste of life. Can't wait for everyone on the team to turn on him for what he did and how he cursed his team. What would be hilarious is if they got him off the team by saying, "so connor, drais has decided to request a trade to VGK, FLA, LAK, COA, DAL, etc. unfortunately, we cannot keep paying you to show up during regulation, but become a spoiled entitled crybaby in the playoffs, so the Buffalo Sabres are looking to get you on their roster, so sign here.

    McDavid: "ok"

Oiler back office: "Thank you Connor, oh whats this??? Oh so Drais reached an agreement with us, and he's not leaving? Awesome. Connor, the Drais trade was never happening. We had a long team discussion. drais has been made Captain, and the reason why is because the agreed that you are worth nothing to us.

  16. The Oilers need physical players more than anything else. They got pushed around by the Panthers. Too many old guys that just don’t bring that quality.
Kane looked good against LA, then…..?
Pods was the most physical once Zach got hurt, the rest just ran their mouths more than anything else.
