Gustav Forsling had the most minutes of all Panthers in Game 6, still, no one is mentioning his impact on taking down McDavid and Dreisaitl to win the cup. An underrated world class defenseman that would have been the super star in any team.
Paul comes into the interview room and takes over. Reminds me of other great coaches. Takes superior intelligence to do so and he has it. Way to go, boys!!!

As a Canadian, I watch the Panthers and am in awe of their skill level. They are so deserving of their Stanley Cup win and I bet they make it a 3peat next season.

What a load of crap not a penalty that was a legit penalty was ever called against Florida during the whole playoffs ,they paid the league off so they could win. Rd

Third most winningest coaches in NHL history. 1,000 wins, a Jack Adam's Award, three stanley cup appearances and 2 wins. He's already a legend, but if he gets 1 or 2 more cups he'll go down as one of the greatest to ever do it
As a Leaf fan, it's hard to take. However, that said, I think Paul Maurice is a heck of a coach and really knows his players inside out. Florida deserved to win the cup because they consistently stepped up when they needed to. Florida is a great team and Paul Maurice was the perfect fit for them.
How many times did you here him and his guys say how they had to "stay in the moment." He has them psychologically prepared for the playoffs. Forget about what happened last shift or last game…don't worry about what happens, just enjoy the moment and play hockey. Pretty amazing to be able to do that with a group of grown men.
Hes excellent taking media in his hands. He answers perfectly what questionare wants to hear, but leaves secrets in locker room.
