  1. What could go wrong, you ask ? Taking Hagens at 6 because all the bigger elite guys were already taken. Picking McQueen at 22 & he gets hurt for ever, like Nolan Patrick. Taking Ravensburgen at 31 & he turns out to be a bust. Trading away at least a pair of the 2nds with York &/or Tippett for the following year's picks in the McKenna sweepstakes.

  2. I don’t think you want to make all four 2nd round picks in a perfect world. The strategy should be to use at least a couple of them to move up in the first round. Stick and pick at #6, but move up from 22 and 31, even if it’s only a few spots there’s a big advantage. Center at #6, defenseman with the next pick if available. Defense needs a big upgrade.

  3. I think they could get into top 10 again, but they would have to offer next years #1 (let’s say top 3 protected). I don’t think any potential lottery teams are going to offer sheet a guy requiring their #1 for fear of missing out on Gavin McKenna (Penn State could be stacked next year!!!). Flyers should be thinking along same lines. But trading next years #1 with a protection could be worth it for Flyers to ensure getting “Their” guy. Like if they really love Brady Martin, they would be crucified taking him with their 6th and passing on whichever 3-6 tier guy falls. But getting the consensus guy at 6 … AND Additionally Martin (O’Brien/McQueen/one of the DMan) would be palatable.

  4. Draft the best 2 way player. Another 3rd line player that they'll move to a position that he played 10 games when he was 11.

  5. I am not fan of Goalie in mid-late first. Flyers might already have #1 goalie prospect in world. I want dynamic scoring

  6. I know you said you’re not interested in moving up but if it costed 22, a later 2nd and a 3rd to move up to early teens to get someone like Jackson smith or aitcheson would you? They’re my two favorite dmen in draft vastly different players but I think both of them would be massive additions to our blue line

  7. WWED? Snider would have brought in solid goaltending and defense. Plus, a few guys who could muck it up in the corners.

  8. Luchanko’s pick was a bad pick at 13, let’s stop sugar coating and accept that. Flyers need to do better or someone should get fired/ replaced
