@Raptorsovereverything Tavares wants 3 years 21m that’s a bit to steep for the Leafs front office, it’s a big reason why contract extension is taking a bit longer then we originally thought and it sounds like they’re far apart from getting the deal done. The Leafs are making attempts to lower the AAV to offset the cap hit.
