Huge Botterill W. No salary retention, no picks dealt, and the player we received is on a one year, low cap hit contract, giving us flexibility. Had no idea this was even possible. Wish Burky the best in Chicago, but change was needed for all parties.

The Burky trade was as clean a cap dump as I’ve ever run across. Now, can we do anything useful with the cap space? Do we even want to this season? That’s the big question.
