  1. He's the one who wanted out. and then wanted out of another team weeks later. This isn't a revenge story, he's just a greedy diva who happens to be very good

  2. If Colorado are not willing to pay anyone else more than what MacKinnon is earning and they ask Makar for discount also because of that. Imagine if makar's agent say that "we want 15 x 8". Are they willing to pay that because if they don't, it's disrespectful for makar

  3. Colorado moose merchants should have known what happens when you let the moose loose. Poetic justice. Sure mackinnon is good but he has always been jekyll and hyde. Rantanen is underrated because nobody realizes how hard/ impossible it is to play, and get along with mackinnon. Me personally, i wouldnt build a team around guys like mackinnon. I like players like barkov and rantanen. Quiet, humble, strong on the puck, and dynamically creative, and they trust their teammates. Mackinnon acts like hes the only guy on the ice when it gets tilted against them and he shuts down. Rantanen has always gotten the clutcher goals, the go ahead goals, or the opening goals. Colorado and mackinnon are moose merchants and always have been

  4. Yep, Colorado REALLY did him so wrong – wanting to pay him essentially what he settled for in Dallas, those jerks And when he wouldn't settle they traded him to a really good team in the East which had (still has) Stanley Cup winning potential who would have met his price.

  5. Thanks for your video about the National Sports Betting League.
However, I’m afraid there is too much hockey in this video and not enough advertising for sports betting and pharmaceuticals.

  6. Stop making the franchises the heel. Rantanen was the issue as proven by two franchises NOT being able to sign him. Carolina was in the "money range" and Rat still refused. Rantanen wanted to be in control of destination. It really is that simple.

  7. What’s funny to think. Dallas made the worst and best trade in a year. Luka for the Mavericks gets traded to LA. And Rant to Dallas from Carolina

  8. The next part of the story the Hockey gods will make happen is Carolinas revenge when they Eliminate Dallas in the SCF…:)

  9. My cousin used to play for the Stars so I watched every game they played and seeing what Rantanen did in game 7 playing Colorado and it gave me chills.Stars in 6 vs Winnipeg. GO STARS GO.

  10. The Avs let him go because he was asking for 14.5 million per year. Then he realized AFTER being traded that NOBODY would pay him that. So he signed for Dallas for 12.5 which is what the Avs WOULD have given him.

  11. Man I couldn’t believe watching this game I’m not even a Dallas fan and I was going nuts. I think this would be the hockey moment of the year if ovi didn’t bust Gretzkys record.

  12. We have to remember that it was not only Avs, but also Carolina gave up with him and traded him away. It is still possible that canes meet the stars in playoffs also and the trade may haunt them also.

  13. As a fan of him since 2018 the trade shocked me to the core because anyone who knows how he is as a person and on the ice they know he’s very professional, classy, and relaxed. The way he handled those last 3 months of the season was better than what 99% of people would handle. Switching between 2 systems, travelling, no permanent home. But he never complained or showed heavy emotions once. Just went out and played that’s it. Colorado was extremely impatient or frankly did not want him contract signed or not. The way Sakic played off the trade so casually and quickly was a clear sign. MacKinnon is definitely pissed and I think one of the reasons he went to the IIHF Tourney is to get his mind off the loss. Also really baffling how much Canes fans hate this guy only because he simply didn’t work out on the team. They should direct the hate to the GM for even making a trade like that without knowing Rantanen’s commitment to the team.

So happy Mikko is in Dallas tho and I’ve watched every game of his so far. He’s THE star now not the #2 which so many delusional people thought he didn’t have in him. Glad I’m a Moose fan. And hope he keeps it up.

  14. I assume that he sensed that he was "home with Dallas" and his decission to make a 8 years contract was ok. That released the stress and the rest is history.
    Only guessing….

  15. There was no revenge. Rantanen isn't in that way egoistic rubbish person. But he plays to win and naturally some extra boost against former team. But not in a way as Americans seems to love to think.

  16. All because McFarlane wanted to make his mark. He couldn't figure it out when all the pieces were there so he panic traded mikko,

  17. It’s insane to think he got traded from an Eastern juggernaut who’s in the ECF now with us in Dallas who’s made yet another WCF

  18. However it was a good thing for hockey and makes NHL more entertaining and it has been a good season everywhere, also here in Finnish leagues and national team games and the lore continues to olympics. Today we saw MacKinnon playing against Finland in World Championships and he was furious after an overtime loss. Canada is really trying to win the world champs tournament and we might see some epic games there later and Rantanen wasn't there obviously but in the Olympics he will be. Then we have the Stars-Oilers starting and everything. A lot is still going to happen until this season is over everywhere and right after starting the next one the Olympics are gonna be a huge thing in hockey. Maybe it could be the flnal boss fight between Rantanen and MacKinnon as well

  19. This will be the only time as an Avs fan I’ll be rooting for the stars. Mikko was and still is my favorite player and he showed the Avs why they never should have traded him. I hope he gets another ring and gives a big middle finger to the Avs in the process.

  20. So COL should have let him walk for nothing in FA? I think COL did very well in the trade with Necas at a much lower caphit. Giving them the ability to spread out the offense and capspace. If Rantanen stayed in CAR this wouldn't even be a conversation.
