We have so much depth in the loose forwards right now itβs ridiculous
Parker build big strong no 06 all blacks
Ardie 7, Satiti 8, and Parker 6 are a solid and traditional type of loose forward trio that ABs usually play well from. All three have post-contact ability, sound defensively, compete for the ball, are mobile, have great off-loading ability, are strong with the ball in hand, and are basically strong on both sides of the ball.
Sotuto is my 6
Jahrome Brown has also had a great season for the Chiefs.
Dude's a beast. Put him in, he's what AB's have been looking for. Knows how to win too
Interestingly Murray Mexted this week picked Kirifi, Savea and Parker as the loose forwards .
Parker reminds me of Liam Squire even the way he runs is similar to Squire
Kirifi 7, Ardie 8, Parker 6…that gives us 3 ball winning loose forwards who are powerful in defense and on attack. The issue we have here in NZ is that we have a lot of awesome flankers at 6'2. Good for domestic competitions, but, internationally, the ABs need size. We have the props and locks now. We need consistency in the loose forwards to help Ardie, who has been our best loosie by far. Tupou Vaai is good but is an inch or two too short for an international lock and a touch too slow for a loose forward. Leave him at lock off the bench (impact player).
Semipeni Finau has been the most physical player in super rugby
Please no Blackadder, havili, Christie, Clarke to name a few. Need some bigger boys in the Forward pack. Better thinkers in the backline. And wingers that can score tries and not just make a few good runs
