  1. Montreal fan here.
    The Panthers deserved this series.
Every game it was there game, even when they lost. Excellent hockey.

  2. Sad to say many Canadians will live a lifetime and never see one of their teams win the cup.

  3. The Flames would gladly take Conor off of Edmonton's hands. We have a great up and coming goaltender and if Conor would sacrifice for the sake of a Stanley Cup and take lets say 8 or 9 million we'd have a deal! 🏆

  4. Why are we also so afraid of saying that McD and Draisaitl didn’t play well enough, I mean, can’t they adapt? They seemed like a one way plan, beaten by a more adaptable team and resilient team, i see Leon and Connor on ice for a lot of Florida goals …. anyhow kudos to the dynasty Cats

  5. No state tax has nothing to do with it. Panthers are filled with players who were willing to take pay cuts to win. Along with a GM that makes the most of their pay cuts. A great culture that’s all about winning at the sacrifice of personal gain.

  6. author of THE DEATH TAX sez: Knoblauch made the same mistake he made last year: overplaying and thus wearing out his stars; not trusting the rest of the team to help carry the load as Maurice did with the Panthers. In the playoffs you MUST be ready to roll out four lines, use everything at your disposal.

  7. overpaid spoiled millionaires . It doesnt matter what your job is but especially a sports player , nobody is worth Millions of $$ per year let alone 5Million plus . With that said, let them cry and complain and make excuses for whatever reasons they want , they are overpaid spoiled millionaires . They make more money in one year than most of us do in a life time that work twice as hard as they ever will

  8. McDavid is the most over rated player of all time, case in point, he could never shake his defenseman (Forsling). A great player should be able to in some capacity, he never could. Send McDavid to Utah, they have fantastic players and his explosive skillset coupled with his speed along with the speed of Utah, could make for a team that can compete against the Panthers.

  9. It's funny when star players say it's a team game and takes a team to win, and yet they are the same players who have taken the maximum salary on their contract. LOL RIP BOZO

  10. Nothing stops players like McDavid. Like a simple poke check.

The Oilers are a very predictable team. They dump and chase . Then follow up with board play. Not enough body checking, traffic infront of the net. They are a highlight reel team.

Game 5 and 6 they looked gassed.

  11. Sabres fan in Boston. Was pulling for the X Sabres on FLA and Marchy. Barkov 👍. Class act. Great player. Used to hate, now respect the hell outa Sam Bennet.

Question McD "Greatest in the world" mantra. At what? Skating, maybe. Did see a lot of figure 8s out there. Give me Leon over McMuffin

  12. I'm gonna quote Herb Brooks here: "I'm not looking for the best players, I'm looking for the right ones"
That's the difference between these finalists. Teamwork defeated individual talent.

  13. Lets hope that the league decides that florida fouls can also be called, they had a fairly free reign so now we can introduce back this so called competition and fair play.

  14. This idea being floated that McDavid might not get back to the Cup Finals is crazy. He's 28, and there are lots of great players who won it in the late 30s (Bourque, Selanne, Hasek, Tim Thomas, etc.). I agree it gets harder as you get older, but a player of McDavid's stature will win the Cup at some point in his life. The only caveat is that it probably won't be in Edmonton.

IMHO, Florida isn't a dynasty until they get a third Cup in the next year or two. Two Cups is impressive, but not worthy of the 'dynasty title'.

  15. Next year is the last secure year for McDavid. He's a great player, but he's not won a cup. Meaning it can be done without him. He is rumored to be aiming for up to $18 million a season. With all the money the front office is already dumping into the team, they are close to no longer wanting a return on their investment and closing in on demanding a return. For the money, if they don't win again next season, the front office will start looking at costs. Will it increase their chances to lose other assets to keep McDavid, or can they let him go and add more tools? Fans won't like it, but it'll be a very real discussion for the front office. Make the team more well-rounded and add depth or keep McDavid. He might be hard to replace, but with his contract ending after next season, it's a very real possibility.

  16. Forsling and the Great Wall of Bobrovski. Only way for McDavid to win the cup is to go with the Panthers next season

  17. Forsling is one of the most cerebral defensemen in the league. If the Norris was ACTUALLY just about playing defense, he'd be in the conversation each of the last 3 years.

  18. The Panthers didn't beat McDavid and the Oilers by themselves. It's Connor McDavid who let people make him feel like he's the best player ever in the history of Mankind. McDavid put himself to be the best but he can't do it by himself or even inspire his team since he didn't have the similar team as the 80s Oilers had whom had a lot more talent than they can handle to win multiple Stanley Cup. Besides, the Sleazy ex-used car salesman Commissioner of the NHL Gary Bettman has other ideas of who should be then next Champions and the referees always obey him.

  19. Oilers this year were steamrolling everybody I am really surprised they lost the final. The way they demolished Vegas and Dallas they looked like inevitable champions. Now that they choked against Florida everyone is bashing on them like they suck. This is crazy strong powerhouse team that just got unlucky to lose 2 overtime games at pivotal moment. Maybe they unraveled mentally because they lost to Florida last year. Florida almost lost to Toronto clowns and looked weaker than Oilers coming into finals. I'm very surprised of the outcome was expecting Edmonton to crush them hard

  20. Does anyone have more Stanley Cup Finals appearances than Corey Perry this century? If that is cursed, I hope I soon earn the wrath of a mysterious fortune teller myself!

  21. ITS NOT A FUCKING DYNASTY 3 in 5 IS THE ONLY WAY YOU BECOME A DYNASTY. Modern day didn't change the requirement it's MEANT TO BE ELUSIVE. Yall are wanna be different cucks

  22. Corey Perry should retire. Sorry for saying this but he seems to be bad luck for every team he plays for now. And do not get me started with Evander Kane.

  23. goign to be a long off season not having your weekly NHL weekly recaps. your channel is one of many reasons I keep up with Hockey and you make it easy to keep up with it since i work many hours a week

  24. Panthers are deep. Their 3rd line was a second line; hell their 4th line was a second line at times. Solid, steady goaltending; superior coaching and adjustments. Remember they were down 2-0 and 3-1 in Game 3 vs. Toronto…then the force of their will took over. And their depth won them that series. Dominated everyone else. Dominated the leafs in 2 games too.

  25. Amazing got every player to fit that defensive system perfectly. Can be a risky system if a player is a second late or overcommits , but it also helps they have Bob

  26. Can you do some videos on classic teams this summer? I want to see videos just like this, but for the 1977 Montreal Canadiens or something
