Russ, Buium did look good in the WJCs, but I felt Luchanko could have shown more if he was utilized better. Is that on the player or the coach? And your question to Briere of knowing what you know now would you have drafted Buium, are you asking that based on Luchanko's performance at the WJCs or strictly because York and Drysdale do not look like they will develop into stars? BTW, is there any guarentee Buium will develop into an NHL star?
Halfway through another disappointing season. This year marks 50 years since the last Stanley Cup and at the pace of this rebuild I expect it to take another 50 years. I was lucky enough to be around for those cups. The 70s were when real hard playing hard drinking men played hockey and fought each other.
