Agreed on this season coming up. Pieces moved out and youngsters coming in may well mean we don't make the playoffs but is a necessary part of the rebuild so grouth is what I'm looking for this sesson. The taste of the playoffs was a big thing for the young guys this year . I think Primeau is moving on so interested to see who gets the 3rd goalie spot. I've never been a Matheson fan for good reason so looking forward to his departure. Florian could be a real surprise if he keeps up his progression.
Jared davidson is "only 6'0" tall but he plays physical for someone his size , i like his grit . Hes game to do the "dirty" stuff and is not afraid to embrace contact against guys who are bigger then Him.

Strubble is done on MTL. We have too many solid NHL proven left D, Strubble does not play on the PP or the PK and although he his a strong big Dmen, he simply doesn’t use his physicality on the ice. I see him part of a package this summer

When Cole Caufield, who is my favourite player, got cross-checked in the face in the playoffs; that was a one-shot display of what the Canadiens need to address. They got the crap beaten out of them. Size needed if the playoffs deman violence over pure skill. Look at Edmonton … all that skill can't beat acceptance of dirty hockey.

For the last two weeks (3 or 4 practice per week) LE CH (few of them) came and practiced at Westmount arena in Montreal Before our weekly game,,,surreal enough !!! It shows how much they want it and wish to improve!! The off season is not really off anymore!!
