I'm kind of surprised by his decision to settle for so little coming off a 30/30 year. If he wanted to stay in Chicago, that's cool. I respect someone who realizes that the grass is not always greener, and who knows that being valued by an org and having a good role on a good line has value beyond dollars and cents. But it seems like little brinksmanship could have yielded him a better pay day with the Hawks. Make 'em sweat a little bit! In any event, very good business by Chicago.

Love this deal as a Hawks fan. I am only able to go to one game a year as I live 5 hours from Chicago, and the one I went to this season was his hat trick game against Vegas. Love the video as well! Julian was pretty knowledgeable about Donato as a player, the season he had, and how he slots into Chicago. Keep up the great coverage guys!
