  1. Wpuld go for Sam Bennet on the VGK. Or rantenen. Or a better goaltender because Hill doesnt perform well without the fear of us losing. VGK dont want Mcdavid, hes a locker room cancer

  2. I think he has more impact in a game then Matthews. Leafs fan are going to cry this one for a long time. Which is great has a Habs fan LoL

  3. No one…and I mean NO ONE IN THERE RIGHT MIND SHOULD PLAY IN TORONTO……It will ruin your career and mental health………and I'm a Leafs fan. Thanks for posting this video. Peace out.

  4. The leafs are always retooling.
That’s why they will never get over the top.
The leafs want to make Marner the scapegoat but it was a lack of toughness that cost them the playoffs.
Same goes to the other 3 teams that the panthers trounced.
The panthers know that championship hockey is tough hockey.
    Leafs were too soft.

The way the leaf fans threw his sweater on the ice I would not come back either.
The only villains are the so called leaf fans.
Pound for pound I don’t think any team has a more annoying fan base than the leafs.
    Not all, but many.
For 5 decades I’ve seen them build a competitive team, lose patience and start from scratch.
There was no lack of talent but a real lack of grit.

  5. An interesting potential landing spot for Marner could be Columbus. They where pretty close to a wild card slot all last season in spite of their roster issues and his scoring could add to their wins column. They also have the cap space to sign him to a big contract.

  6. 32 teams and only 1 gets to win it all.. Mitch would have gone down with Auston and Willy as probably the 3 greatest Leafs of all time. The Tavares cap chokehold is finally over and the fanbase decides to run a perennial 90 point 200 foot winger out of the city. Truly sad to witness.

  7. You keep repeating that Marner has accomplished nothing. If you mean he hasn’t won a cup, perhaps it is not so much his failure as it is the 58 year failure of the Leafs.

  8. Mathews is not a generational player. Generational players come through in big games. He chokes in big games

  9. Marner has accompolished nothing? Eh? One of the most skilled players in the NHL, sets up Canada's game winner in the 4 Nations, and is a multimillionaire before age 30. That's definitely something worth writing home about. I can almost bet 31 other teams in the NHL want him. Toronto is desperate for a Stanley Cup. They'll do anything for a Stanley Cup. And those two 6-1 losses to Florida at home were humbling and devastating. But Mitch Marner as an individual and hockey player is a success story.

  10. Wishing the best for Marner. Toronto fans are horrible to play for. Hopefully he has a better time somewhere there’s less pressure

  11. "Marner accomplished nothing." STFU, the Leafs didn't manage the cap and couldn't assemble a balanced squad that could take on real contenders. For all the goals he didn't score, he assisted on goals that others did. That's what Marner does better than anybody else on the team, than almost anybody else in the league. And if more than a handful of Toronto fans and the media recognized that; if he wasn't repeatedly blamed for the team's lack of success, he'd be negotiating with Toronto. Instead he's doing the sensible thing and going where his talent is apprciated… and where he might have a chance to contribute to a winning team.

  12. Good. Leafs fans don’t deserve a cup and those players deserve a better fan base. Toronto has long been regarded as the worst fan base in the nhl. They’re rude, trashy and incredibly disrespectful to literally their own players. No wonder no one respects that team or those garbage pale people.

  13. Honestly, of the players I can think of having a "Leaf Legacy", no one on the current leafs roster comes to mind as being a legacy to the club. Not yet at least.

  14. This whole Marner thing is pretty silly. Since the time he arrived in Toronto with Babcock he was treated bad within the organization. His agent didn’t help the situation, oh if you’re unhappy and can’t leave just get the Maximum money screw the championship window just get all the money you can. Then when the leafs haven’t done much for the last few years he is pointed to because he is a great player in the regular season and he has made a lot of money over his career already. But Marner and the leafs just needed to you know actually do something in the playoffs or if Marner was paid less maybe he doesn’t take all the scrutiny from the media maybe they do go farther. Either way he chose to let his agent represent him and all he and his agent have shown is that they want the sun and the moon and don’t really care about the team or winning a championship when is comes to contracts. They wanted Max money and the earliest opportunity to leave. Well here we are and Marner probably still thinks he’s being treated badly with all the trade requests but he’s the guy who has only ever put forth that he wants to leave

  15. I know there’s no panthers players making more than 11m but they don’t pay taxes so 8 there is 10 in Canada. Such an advantage that they have

  16. Can’t wait to watch Marner win the cup before the leafs and see leafs fans suffer. That’s what you idiots get for putting so much pressure on your players that they literally hate hockey

  17. Cancelling a charity event is a scumbag move. It’s one thing to not show up or be “sick”, but he sure stuck it to those… disabled kids… he sure showed them!

  18. If Marner needed a change of scenery he should have done the club a favour and been traded prior to his UFA. He could still walk and it would even be expected.

  19. Leafs fan and im excited to move on… guy can’t play in the playoffs.. TFS TFS… leafs have a lot of those guys… to Fucking small

  20. The Leafs still did better against the Panthers than Oilers did. If the big 3 actually showed up they would have knocked them out.

  21. Mitch Marner is a little baby. He’s exactly what the Leafs don’t need. A whiny spoiled brat rich boy who has probably had life given to him. Leafs need winners who get it done, not excuse makers who turn and hide when the going gets tough.

  22. He will get a deal north of $14 mill which is just a bit more than Nylander and maybe even $17 million and become the highest paid. If Matthews loafed his way along with a $16.7 million dollar deal, Mitch carried the team this season and did everything better than Matthews. If he doesn't care about a cup and purely $ then a lot of teams have space, but a lot of those teams aren't contenders. A lot of contenders like Vegas don't have the cap space. Contenders that didn't make the playoffs but showed well have plenty of cap space like Wings & Sabers. No doubt some East Coast teams like Kings, or Utah would love him to fill seats and merchandise. I'm going with a wildcard pick for him to land close to Toronto in Buffalo. It may sound insane but he is still close enough to family, his business and his friends in the GTA. I don't think total isolation in the West Coast is what he desires. If he changed his mind on a Canadian team then the Flames have the cap space and it would be a in your face to Bubbles Treliving.
