The Calgary Flames announced that they re-signed forward Dryden Hunt to a two way two year deal. Hunt was a point per game player for the Calgary Wranglers last season. He steps up big when he is called upon. Where does he fit into the Wranglers line up and can he fill shoes this season? Plus, Jessica Belmosto shares her thoughts on what the bottom six may look like. Surprise, Captain Mikael Backlund moves down to the 4th line with Kevin Rooney likely departing. If the Flames want to re-sign Justin Kirkland, just how does he fit into the rotation? Plus, could the Flames move Martin Pospisil or Yegor Sharangovich to alleviate some of the congestion?

  1. I agree it may be time for the Flames to move Backlund to the 4th line. That being said, I don't think they'll do it because he's the captain and because he resigned here after all the drama. I don't think it's a lock that Kirklund is on the team this year, but it would be fun for him to get a second look.

  2. Backlund will be moved to the 4th line 💯.. Dryden Hunt is depth he loves Calgary and will most likely play for the wranglers all year and if he plays well will get the odd call up..
