All sports are the same, you need early / constant / frequent exposure. When your dad is a progressive skating coach, you get a ton of ice time. From what I learned recently, their dad grew up on Long Island and played for the Long Island Gulls. He even helped train kids on LI, but got a job in Florida I believe with the Panthers. That is why 2 of the brothers were born in Florida. Then they moved to Toronto. It was a perfect path for a hockey player lol
Lots of play is the biggest factor.
Same with soccer and just playing in the house or in the yard.

Team USA has been disrespecting and snubbing Kane since he was a literal child. If they do it one more time he should refuse to have anything more to do w them ever. They literally use him as a teaching model for offensive play and have for years and years. He's shown up for them whenever asked, his whole career. And they just keep treating him like he's nothing.
