The Calgary Flames overacheived this season, but there are a number of players that did not live up to expectations. Rasmus Andersson experienced an injury toward the endof the season that was the icing on top of the cake. He finished a franchise worst -38 on the season. Andersson’s lack of confidence has been an issue since his accident in Detroit. Yegor Sharangovich signed a five year contract extension after one season in Calgary. He fell short and was very inconsistent all season long. Martin Pospisil has a lot more to improve on than just taking fewer penalties.
