the league will fix LTIR loophole by forfeiting sen's first round pick. I don't trust the league to enforce its rules fairly. Reminder they punished the canucks retroactively for luongo's contract, a contract that they approved.

There MUST be a way to have a "tax adjusted salary cap". Some places with lower taxes have a lower cap. Some places with higher taxes have a higher cap. It's not rocket science. Then you might not have all the places where people don't really care about hockey, or know players, that have lower taxes, being able to draw all the free agents that want low pressure. Even out the financial playing field once and for all, and let the players decide where they want to play.
Listen, Francesco Aquilini knows more about hockey than anyone in this city. That's why they have had such a great team, and been drama free, the entire time he has owned the team. He isn't the one common denominator as to why they have been a bad to middling team over the last 15+ years. The team presidents were the problem. The GM was the problem. The coach was the problem, during that time. Never the one person who has been there through it all, FA.
