[Music] Well I love how he put himself in a position to really get a lot on that shot Where was the defensive zone coverage there Enzo just because you’re in the butterfly doesn’t mean you can give in to the shooter You still have to move He looked like he thought he was in perfect shape to make the stop and didn’t have to move Bad guess The Bruins get the first one Didn’t take long It was their physical play Doc that got him this lead Boston’s got another faceoff win 88 score He got ironed with that shot [Music] Great weight transfer on this slap shot Enzo I don’t know about you from up there but I thought he stopped this and just ricocheted off him into the net [Music] [Music] Off the face off he ties his man up and so the puck goes to his team Breakaway chance Great save When you’re out of position a pass lane opens up because he’s staring at the puck He doesn’t notice his guy is the one that’s going to get the scoring chance [Applause] [Music] I sure agree Eddie We’re tried to be too fine with this shot up and over the net Right into the slot Carried through center ice Let’s go That one comes right on his stick Not very long but good toward the net Terrific setup Directed wide Back in his defensive end to get it Knocked right off the stick Gets that pass Doesn’t have to move Heads on behind in the slot He’s got it Oh a great reaction there Outstanding save by the goalie Oh he put it in his own net It counts against him Sometimes you can do just about everything right and you still end up on the bad side of things This puck bounces off the defender and into the net Moves up the wing It’s an oddman rush It’s a threeon two Moves to the corner Shoots Oh what a glove he’s got there And a whistle Routine stop for the goalender The shooter’s going to have to close You don’t get many better opportunities than that Great save Using the point He’s got it Shoots one Terrific pad save Shots delivered quickly but he smothers the bottom of the net so well Gets his legs out to make the stop up by the center on the tie up and he motors on through the neutral zone Solid defensive play to break up the rush Give that goalie credit for another perfect pass [Applause] Pass to the slide off the mark with the shot Can come back on this power play Savannah’s cutting through the neutral zone Broke it up well with the poke check Lets it fly Picks it up in his own end Right near the line on through the corner Just got a piece of it Good quick poke check there Glides to the safety behind the net Back in his defensive end to get it Score [Applause] [Music] The goalender had no chance stopping that puck with a quick release And so he’s in good position here but the shooter’s known to be a real accurate shooter He doesn’t have much room and he doesn’t miss anything [Applause] swept on to Smith and he motors on through the neutral zone forcing attention in deep Score and it’s a onegoal game You get this close to the goalender to puck on your stick you got to snap it quick And so he looks like he’s in pretty good positioning here but he’s not able to get his glove low enough to snap this one up [Applause] Can he generate something let it go Wonderful save on the redirect That puck change direction in front of the goalender Shoot They score and they’ve tied the game up You want to score goals you got to get to this area of the ice Oh it looks like his trapper’s got a hole in it there Edo He gets beat low to the glove side [Applause] Smith’s passing in this game has been outstanding He has two assist so far What a hit Well he’s been looking for that hit all night Oh and here’s a threeon two Oh another save He’s into the slot He’s got a chance Brilliant acrobatic save I know it’s a great looks ahead to start something Knocked it away with the stick He’s got it but can he shovel it out of there good job of clearing Gains the zone Brings a shot wide That puck out of play over the glass [Music] [Applause] to Smith Smith’s looking to add to his two assist game so far He’s been creating chance after terrific save there Didn’t look like he had anything to shoot at and he made it tough A missed opportunity from this close in Wonderful save It didn’t look like he had a thing to shoot at Full steam up the wing Wrist shot Score He got ironed with that shot [Music] [Applause] It’s not how hard you shoot it but it’s the release that counts And he snaps it home He’s beaten cleanly here He has to hope that the puck bounces up over the net but it instead deflects back down into the cage [Music] We’ve been on the receiving end of more than a few of these things This is why you retire from the welcome [Applause] Oh wonderful play taken right up the middle It’s a threeon two How will they defend this terrific
