‘Panthers not a team McDavid can go hero mode against’: Corrado on SCF

Was it a mistake to go back to Calvin Pickard in Game 5? Are you surprised there are still so may Oilers’ lineup changes happening between games? Do you think the Oilers win the last two games to claim the Stanley Cup? TSN Hockey analyst Frankie Corrado joins SC with Jay Onrait to help preview Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

  1. Cats win Cup tonight. Whats worse than losing game 7 in finals? Losing Game 7 a second time in 2 years. Yikes! might be the first and last time a team ever does it! Time Will Tell.

  2. Unless you are genuinely a Panthers fan (which I know there aren't many of), can we all agree that a game 7 would be so much more fun?

  3. It doesn't matter who the Oilers put in net tonight, as the Panthers are going to win their 2nd Stanley Cup!!

  4. Many teams as a whole need to wake up and play like their life depends on it, that drive cant be bought. Panthers haven't always played this way and now players realize that when they come play for the Cats they need to play hard, no half ass puck watching. Panthers can call up nobody's and watch them out-hustle half that Oil team

  5. Don’t put the cart before the horse. The series isn’t over yet—there’s still hope for an Oilers comeback.

  6. Does everybody ha e short term memory lose. Ill remind you the. OILErs
Where down 3 games against Florida pansies and tied it up ow just 2 win from winning it all da da da

  7. It is always a mistake to pull your starting goalie unless he’s injured. It demoralizes the team and places the blame on the wrong player. The team played poorly, not the goalie. The Oilers don’t have the mental strength to win the Cup.

  8. The problem is pressure. The Panthers are good at taking away most of the quality opportunities through consistent pressure. The Oilers do not maintain consistent pressure and present higher quality opportunities on a silver platter.

  9. I mean sure but in game 7 last year, if mcdavid never played the outcome was the same. He did nothing that game, was smothered and couldn't do anything offensively. The best player in the world has to get a goal, an assist, make a play that creates a goal somehow, at least one. And thats if their on the better team or the worse team. In cup finals/olympic finals ect. When everyone is good the best player on the ice is often the difference maker.

  10. mcdavid needed to get atleast a point in game 7 as the best player in the entire sport right now. At the end of the day, in the biggest game in hockey, you have to find a way to do something offensively if your team is going to win. We saw him crumble in the locker room last year. Maybe he just doesn't have it in him , hes still the best player overall I'd say but thats the playoffs

  11. Nathan McKinnon STILL has more goals in the playoffs than Mcgarbage. Dude is so overrated. Does he make some great plays? For sure. Does he play defense? Barely.

  12. He can give them enough of a handful that other guys can step up and take advantage. That’s always been the game plan. Other guys just need to fuckin do it

  13. And it was a complete cr&p show again from Edmonton. Game six of the finals and you don’t know what lineup to put out there …. Coach throws the dice and it works, he is brilliant but when they don’t it isn’t his fault.
