With Donnie here , they gave up on him for no reason , even if his ceiling is career third liner then so what ? He can play the third line his whole career on a reasonable contract

Productive bottom 6 guys are hard to get and podz is also plus 8 , 96 hits , 9 points in 20 playoff games playing 11 minutes a game and only a million dollars per year definitely worth a 4th pick .
Podz is still a bust by pretty much every standard. 10th overall pick so his career to date has been disappointing. That being said he's only 23, and I feel like they just felt he should be much further ahead than he was. If he turns into a solid bottom 6 player then great…but he still falls way short of his projection.
Podkolzin is a bust, anyone who doesn’t see that, doesn’t know sh!t about hockey. Plain and simple. I was there at the draft when he was drafted, and the crowd booed for a reason.
