In Zetterlund, Sens fans trust.
Most realistic Top-6 Forward option that could be available for trade, I think has to be Jared McCann. I'd like to see the Sens take a swing at him. If not, I'm not sure there's much else for the Sens on the trade market.
Adding Gourde and Bjorkstrand gives Tampa three lines. Not as deep as during the cup runs but the cap prevents that for long. Unfortunately Tampa did not have Bojorkstrand for any of the playoffs and did not have Hagel for 3 of the 5 games. Other injuries did not help but injuries can derail any plan. Florida likely takes a hit to their depth after this year and may be tired after three runs. Tampa went through it and so will the Panthers.
The sens issue is, they have too many middle 6 players.
They would need to package a few young players for a bonafide top 6 winger.
Hopefully when TB got Bjorkstrand he was hurt because he didnt look good at all.
Sens making big brain moves to have enough cap space to try and sign McDavid in 2026.
