The decision to bring Andrei Kuzmenko to the Vancouver Canucks was arguably one of the best decisions general manager Patrik Allvin has made.
Kuzmenko hasn’t found the same success since his first season with the Canucks, although he showcased flashes of what he can while getting his first taste of NHL playoff action this spring.
But the big question is, could the Canucks reunite with Kuzmenko this offseason?

You need a mix , speed, grit, big hit, board work , big and small . Young and wiser. Good faceoff guys too. Ambidextrous, or different position Swiss army type guys. I’d like to get Claude Giroux for 1or 2 years.
Kuz won’t get more than 5m. Too many red flags.

I would 100% stay out of the spending frenzy of UFA and focus on trade additions for players with term or sign and trades.
UFA should be for depth value signings this offseason.
If you are going to make the mistake by keeping EP40 you might as well sign a guy like Kuzmenko who has a great attitude and shows he loves to play the game. Not a downer like EP 40

Kuzmenko is not playing well because he is not conformable under the Tocchet system, not EP40 fault 🙄
