I hate this team so much. We could have a top 4 pick but they want us to be mediocre forever. We will never be a contender until we get a legitimate #1 center and #1 d-man, neither of which we will get drafting 10th.

Honestly, I'm just enjoying the ride. In 06-07 the flyers had the worst record, but Chicago got the number 1 selection. Kane would've looked good in orange in black, but that isnt how the lottery unfolded. Look at all the losing the 6ers did and Embiid caught the injury bug(not to mention all the failed picks along the way noel, fultz, turner, Okafor, simmons etc.) Danny B and Jonesy need to draft well and hire the right people to foster young talent. For every Kane there are a ton of Scott Pearsons.

Why are we annoyed? Maybe because we've had to watch over a decade of rosters almost entirely composed of mediocre players and these meaningless wins significantly increase the chances of having to settle for yet another one in the first round?
And let's be real, Foerster is one of them. Good for him for scoring some pointless goals in some pointless games but we all know deep down he's a decent 3rd liner at best.
And while Bill's right, there's nothing we can do about it, it's still annoying as hell that guys like Foerster and Poehling have decided to play some of their best hockey now when they've long been out of the playoff race and wins are only detrimental to the future of the franchise.
