@steve dangle can you do a breakdown of all the marner drama and why letting him go is the right thing to do. Honestly after the private security incidents should have been the end of him. You guys wouldn't even talk about it for like a year after it happened.
Step 1 ) Slap Nylander on LTIR for some bogus back injury, or have him take steroids and get busted. Step 2) Use LTIR $ to pickup a nice #1 defencemen, someone like Seth Jones. Step 3) Place Reilly on LTIR. Step 4) Use LTIR money to get a nice 2nd liner or 3rd line center. Step 5) Make sure your home ice is slushy as fuck in the summertime. Step 6) Win Cup. EZPZ. Dis is the way.

If we're going to keep this state taxes narrative helping teams wins, then noise is what keeping teams like toronto from winning since they have the most of it. In fact they should put that in the CBA that fans can only complain so much and not so loud.
I think re-signing Marner and Tavares to combined 25M would be good.

Trade for JT miller, using Reilly as bait, sign Knies to 8+8. Bring in Danford, Cowan. Offer Tavares 4.5/4, offer Bennett 10 at 8. Perry and Patches 2/1.
