Best thing about McDavid saying “our best hasn’t shown up yet” neither has the Panthers bud. Barkov still doesn’t have a goal and Seth Jones hasn’t had a monster offensive game yet which he’s more than able to have from the D spot. Bobby still hasn’t stolen a game this series either and he’s going to do that atleast 1 time this series. If we go up 3-1 tomorrow then it’s officially parade time.

What shows me that this team is a winning team was when bennet is getting cross checked over and over and DID NOTHING and turns around and scores a breakaway goal. THAT was the revenge and it showed oilers r letting there emotions get the better of them and Florida says do whatever u want I'm not falling for it. I'm a pens fan and just remember crosby getting cross checked and didn't do anything back. Edmonton mentally has to be on the verge of breaking cause if they lose again u never know if u will get there again and u failed to win. This next game is MASSIVE for them. But it's been an amazing final tho and fun to watch let's go game 4
I've been calling the Panthers a possible dynasty, not Wayne's Oilers or the Bossy Islanders, Yet, but they could become that, I started watching and playing hockey in 1965 so I've seen some hockey in my time, this Panthers team is one of, if not the best ever, in. Huge reason for that is Bob, I've seen some great goalies, but playing in front of him must be some comfortable, Confidence hockey, that guy eats biscuits in his sleep.

It’s not about players in the NHL . If it was Cale Maker MacKinnon and McDavid and Draisitl would be hoisting the cup every year. There is no SGA or Jokic that will get you there. Panthers are the ultimate team in the ultimate team sport. The most gratifying trophy last year outside the cup was the NHL media and brass giving McJesus the conn smythe . Real panther fans loved that no one on their team got the MVP .

Look, man, if you wrote off Brad Marchand, on account of a slow start after having 3 procedures to extend his career, then you're probably as big of an egit as an ageist. He told you all last fall that he could not perform his usual off-season stuffs because he was recovering, but these procedures would enable him to play without pain and therefore extend his career. What part of that did you not understand? Does he look slow out there? Ask Edmonton..or Carolina..or Toronto..or Tampa Bay. I'm not trying to be a biased Panthers fan here. But I have been saying this and seeing the way the oilers play. They just don't have the depth the beat the Panthers. Sure they have McJesus and Draisitl. But that's it. The Panthers defense is too stout to allow two players to break through. And then the oilers get flustered and aggravated. And they collapse right into the aggressive choking style of the Panthers. It's a great matchup really. Best offense vs best defense. And the Panthers are just a tougher bunch.
Also keep in mind. We the Panthers literally almost sweet them last year. I honestly don't see how Edmonton can come back here. Not enough firepower.

They would be a dynasty only if they won this year (defeated Edmonton last year, but would need to win again this year) and then one more before the end of this decade most likely. But if they win this year, there is a chance with a core that is signed long term and a chance to keep winning. However, if they win this year then the talk should begin.

This team has a lot of characteristics of the Islanders dynasty…. They play for each other every night…. They all accept and embrace their job on the team… They can beat you physically mentally and in a tight 2-1 game or in a track meet 7-5 game…. Maurice is a master he has such a trust and respect for his players….. They be around a while….
