He's a cagey old vet. He needs to go where a team has high draft picks who are young and useless/aimless.

    Seattle (?)

    Etc etc

  2. "Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. On top of that, he just came into Harry's and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust."

  3. He is definitely a wildcard but he truly was one of the all time great leaders,no doubt about that. And let’s face it pretty much every team in the league could use one of those

  4. It's got to be Winnipeg. I remember him saying a few years ago if he wasn't playing for the Blackhawks he would be playing in Winnipeg. Not to mention he has a relationship with Chapman and knows Chevy from when he was the assistant gm in Chicago. What more could you want? Multi Olympic gold medalist. 3x Stanley Cups and countless NHL awards, multiple international awards outside of the Olympics. Coming back to play after taking time off and playing for his hometown team that is a cup contender and what's probably his last season seems like riding off into the sunset. Not to mention Lowry is probably going to be out for the first 2 months and they need someone down the middle to fill in that third line.

  5. Must be nice to have that luxury of picking where you want to play. He's already earned more than 100M in his career and where ever he ends up, it's just because he wants to play hockey and not worry about anything else. I mean the guy just paused his career to go to India then comes back and wants to play again. He's even more valuable than Phil Kessel. I"m sure someone will take him and he'll sign there because he wants to be there not because he doesn't have a choice. He could also entertain a team from the KHL if he craves that high level of competition and still bask in the pampered European life.

  6. What was the point of brining LeBum on when he doesn’t know anything. They could have called me and could have gave them the same answer
