How long has Edmonton needed a goaltender? What a joke.
For the good of the league, let him go Edmonton. You had your chance for nearly 10 years. To have arguably the most dynamic player this generation stuck in a bottom tier market like Edmonton is a complete waste.
If the last two seasons they didn’t make the cup finals mcdavid would definitely walk. But considering they were this close twice means he shouldn’t have a reason to leave just yet. If however next season they don’t make playoffs or even get eliminated early, he has a good reason to leave

The defense wasn’t good. But they haven’t given Mcdavid a legitimate goalie. Goaltender was the glaring issue in my opinion.
1 year left on mcdavid's contract. I think he'll explore the market after next season. He wants to win. Not gonna win when your team is always deciding on who is starting in net.
Think Edmonton should go get value and trade McDavid before he leaves. Congrats Panthers what a great playoff run!!

Edmonton needs better Goalkeeping. Skinner and Pickard both don't inspire confidence.
Heck they did worse, they should have been swept!! if not for a couple of good second periods to cause an overtime win, they would have lost four straight. They got smoked, they did not show up. Say what you want about the goal tender, their defense sucked. They need to stand up and look in the mirror Plus Conner was a no show…Same thing happened when Edm played Fla in the regular season, they got smoked…. They have nothing for what Fla brings. Bottom line One team wants it and has people that will do what ever it takes within a system to get the job done… The Oilers DO NOT… Simple….
