  1. he's not leaving pittsburgh, he already said he won't play anywhere else and the whole point to leave would be to chase a cup which isn't happening in montreal, that's why not

  2. My toughts about this idea: Florida got Marchand for a 32nd draft pick for the trade deadline and only for a use for the playoff run. I think malkin worth is a tad more than a guy like Marchand. Both got the same kind of numbers in their season but Malkin is a big centerman so maybe is worth is a bit higher, but not that much higher too.

    I think we could have him for a young player like Mailloux. I know a lot of people would throw me rocks for saying this but I really feel like Mtl doesn't sense Mailloux to become a top 4 right D. At best if he become a 6th right D it would already be "good" but I think he won't crack the lineup of the Mtl canadiens. Why not swapping Mailloux to a team who wants young players for a reconstruction and we got our big 2nd line centerman who can act as a big brother for Demidov
