  1. There are certainly a LOT of downsides to Zibanejad, but could you see this EVER working for Montreal? Leave your thoughts below!

  2. That’s a long and rich contract, maybe if he was younger but 5 years remaining at 8.5 for a 32 year old, idk about this one i think it’s too long of a term for the age

  3. Zibanejad- hell no. If Nesbitt was a better skater we wouldn't be talking about Bear or Lakovic. Then again , if he was a better skater he might go top 10

  4. I do not want anyone with "effort" issues. I want someone who just won't quit. I would be ok with Zibanejad as a 2C until Hage is ready and I think him with Demidov and A physical guy who can also shoot like Heineman would make an interesting experiment.

  5. Another old player, Mika Zibanejad [32 yrs. old] try Florian on the second line, he will impress.

  6. Why the fuck would we want a guy on the downside with a terrible contract. Hes a PP point scavenger. You guys are getting as terrible as Zibenijad

  7. Never gonna happen. Also stay away from "HE'S A HUGE PLAYER" Unless he plays big, some don't, if he does ok… But if he's like Lane and Dach tall and play soft like a 2 footer. I don't see him get 70 points on second line, first yes but not 2nd with barely any pp1 time. We need talent and beef!

  8. yeah that guy can go pound cakes. Don't want a player that doesn't work hard. Zibanejad has always had issues with his work effort. He gives up. That is what happened this year.

  9. Zibana- bad 1:23 is too old, too expensive and has too many years left on his contract. We’d be stupid to do the Rangers any favors and help them free up cap for Peterka and Necas or Robertson. Instead, I’d trade for Rossi as he plays tougher than the soft bigger Zibanajed. Or use the money for Necas or Peterka ourselves!!!

  10. Imagine standers used washed up goods and Laine on the same line with poor Demidov! 2 big sift players! No thanks

  11. Even with his current cap hit and underperformance, he's only a slight overpay considering he's a solid penalty killer as well (2-way add $1-2M more per season). Wish his faceoff percentage better than average.
