If Oilers win the Cup this year they will have a good chance trading off Kane and Ekholm, with salary cap going up, we could see Marner in Edmonton.

A great deal for Kreider. The return is a player who will likely never see the NHL. Have to give Drury credit for consistency. It looks more and more like he is planning to enter the Gavin McKenna lottery for next year. Trading Shesterkin away for a 5th round pick might do that.
I think like he said middle guys getting offer sheets makes more sense since not as much pick wise has to go back in return. Lots of teams traded away their picks so they can't do offer some offer sheets

Somebody's giving an offer sheet to Hofer. Goaltending is hard to come by, especially a quality backup. The Blues are going to get a taste of their own medicine this summer, after plucking two from the Oilers last year.
