By “really special scoring talent” I assume Brooke is including goals scored. I think if Hagens was really THAT special, it would have shown up better in his college stats, a la Celebrini , Fantilli or Eichel. Good scoring talent, sure. Really special, I don’t think so.
I love Nastrisil, but I like the idea of taking a defenseman late in the first round or trading up for a defenseman. I think its ideal to have a D prospect at every age in the system. My perfect draft – 3OA – Caleb Desnoyers Trade up – Keyshawn Atchinson Trade into first round- Vaclav Nastrsil.
