  1. Skilled two-way defenseman with above average offensive tools. Thomson is a fluid skater and moves the puck well up the ice. Not a bad passer, but stands out more with his slapper from the blue line. (EP 2019)

  2. I think Thompson is similar to matinpalo, just needed a little more time to evolve and then be given an opportunity to play

  3. Bringing back Lassi is low risk, I like it. Worse case scenario, he's an upgrade in Bellville. Best case, he helps play some NHL minutes until Jensen is healthy.

  4. My buddies lab did the same thing with the floors, he went mental one day and refused to walk on any hard wood or up and down the stairs.

  5. Love the baseball talk. I was on my little league all star team to go to the LLWS. My brother was scouted by the Pirates when he was 18…he threw 90. I was a lefty (clocked at 65mph at 12 years old) with a wicked curveball I could throw for strikes, a rainbow drop, and a fastball. We didn't make it out of the Ottawa tournament to go to the provincials, but we won the game I started at Landsdowne 5-3. I still play softball, and am thinking about some senior baseball. I still watch the LLWS and very rarely see anyone with a curveball that broke down and across as much as mine did. During that game, the lefties were falling backwards to the ground thinking they were going to get hit, and then a strike would be called. The manager eventually came out and started giving it to the umpire, who loudly told him to shut the eff up, and sit the eff down, because he and his team had never seen anything like what I was delivering. Probably my fondest childhood sports memory. Great show! Go Sens Go!

  6. Another thing about Lassi: I imagine he has a lot more confidence after that season in Sweden he just had.. I think that can only help his decision-making during plays..

  7. Puck over glass from your end should probably be penalized the same as icing. D zone face off, no change allowed.

  8. Lassi Thomson was not expected to be taken in the first round. Go back to him being selected – he had a huge shocked reaction.

  9. Always liked Thompson, thought he got a rough deal here. IMO he was a better prospect than JBD! Best bowling movie ever the Big Lebowskie !!!
