Finally blues content
Meh.
Blues’ top priority is a 2C. Schenn slots down to 3C (manage his minutes). Neighbors and Balduc need to improve their 200 foot game. If possible, re-sign Faksa. Sunny should be our 13th forward/healthy scratch.
Don’t forget the $6.5 LTIR relief for Krug as he seems very unlikely to play again.
I would like more Blues content but you unfortunately don't know much about the team you are woefully unqualified to be giving said content as you seem to have no insider knowledge of the team
At 33 I think the Blues should be looking a little younger at center.. 25 to 30 YO. Make a Hockey Trade
The blues have Krugs salary also so they’re in good condition. I’ve heard others talk about granlund also and it makes sense to slot him
In at 2C
Sign Hofer first, then Faksa. If Krug doesn't come back then go for it.
I think there is better value out there for a second line center – the Blues need center depth, and if the hockey GODs will it, maybe they could dump a couple of these aging Dmen. I would like to see maybe somebody come up this year out the system, or the Blues snatch a young top 4 defenseman per trade or magic. Parayko and Fowler are a good 1&2, but Broberg needs a hockey bro – Faulk just ain't got the game anymore. Don't rush Dvorsky – let him develop.
We’ve already got Thomas, Schenn, and Holloway – it’s really hard to justify bumping Holloway down given the incredible season he just had. He was a 63 point player last season, for just 2.2 mil against the cap. Granlund had a whopping 3 points more than him during last season. Super not worth it for the cost, especially since Holloway is an appreciating asset and Granlund is a depreciating one.
Not exactly sure why the Blues keep getting linked to centers – it’s the single position with the most depth on our roster. What we really need are defensemen.
Blues need to and have to focus on goalie depth. With hofer we have 4 total without 3 total that's very dangerous
Blues going after Bowen Byram. Also if Nashville shops ROR and want to retain some money I bet we go after him for a 2nd line center..
Krugs done so that 6.5 mill should be available..
We need D. Byram would be a great pickup.
Keep bringing the blues content yes grandkid for the right price see how divorski goes the first half of the year if he matures looks hungry bring him in then give him a taste of the possibility
