Giants vs. Dodgers Game Highlights (6/15/25) | MLB Highlights

And all of a sudden, this incredibly spicy rivalry just took another major step forward as within the last five minutes. Word has broken that the San francisco Giants and the Boston Red Sox have made a massive deal sending Rafael Devers Boston’s third baseman who signed an 11 year 300 $31 million deal. He’ll go to San Francisco Jordan Hicks, kyle Harrison, who was supposed to start tonight is also reportedly in the deal. This is an earth shaking move by both of those organizations. It’s going to be right hander Dustin May on the mound for the Dodgers here this afternoon, Jung Lee stands in Lee on the ground and that is going to be an easy one and there is one down and now Elliott Ramos to the plate on the 02, he drives one to right field coming in and now about facing the Sunflower seeker Oscar hernandez. Now the Dodgers will come up in the bottom of the first and it’s not against kyle Harrison who apparently has been traded to the Boston Red Sox right before this game starts. So Sean Jelly is going to start. We don’t know how long he can go in this game, but he’s on the mound to begin against Otani and the Dodgers the first pitch it is into White Otan all over the jelly sinker. So now here’s Freddie Freeman. This is a shot up the middle off the bat of Freddie Freeman. He’s been struggling a little bit lately but three hard hit balls against Sean Jelly to get this game started. The bases are full of Dodgers in the first inning and a great opportunity now for Andy Pas pitch to Andys hits it in the air to right field. Over toward the line is Jastrzebski. He will make the catch tagging from third and heading to the plate is he will score with a pop up slide advancing from second to third Freeman. It’s a sacrifice fly for Andy Paz and the Dodgers on the board first. It’s one to 0 to 2. Kiki on the ground in the hole. It’s going to be a tough one. Adam throws it across and he gets him by half a step. Boy, how about the internal clock on? Really adam in the play? He just ends up getting a walk. So Wilmer Flores will come to the plate here it is. And he goes with the breaking ball. The sleeper gets a swing and a miss and strikes out Flores and now Yastrzemski will come up. Yes, pushes one, there’s nobody there at third base. He is going to get on. He moves a runner into scoring position and the bases are loaded. Now for cross popped up on the infield. May looks for help. He looks to his third baseman. He will get it and they will Dalton rushing a 32 pitch straight three call on the inside corner, the sinker with movement coming back to the plate. Here’s Tommy Edmon. This one swung on, drilled to right field and deep. It is headed back to the wall that is over. Tommy Edmon. His 10th home run of the season. A solo shot and the Dodgers lead it 2 to 0. Well, he got a cutter that was left up out over and he just annihilated the four pitch walk to Otani lined out sharply to Casey Schmidt at third last time up. There’s a swinging strike and the bat flies out of the hand of Mookie Betts and hits high up off the netting. Yastrzemski comes up here with two down and nobody on 31, a good pitch to hit and ya knocks it into right field. Porter gets drilled and Christian costs will come up and this one’s up the middle and it’s gonna get through Christian cost delivers. Coming in is Yastrzemski, he’s safe and the Giants get an RB I single from christian costs out of the number nine spot and make it 2 to 1. And now the Giants have the tying run in scoring position with Logan Porter and Jung Lee pulled past freeman down the line into the corner. Big chance here for the Giants to grab two porter’s got touch on cost is all the to third. The grandson of the Wind Young with a triple and the Giants are on top 3 to 2. Jelly has taken over and done really well here to left off the end of the bat and it’s going to be so shallow and left that will Adam is going to go out and say I’ll get it. Sean Jelly is coming out and a guy who is on the roster, even though we don’t exactly know how for sure. Joey Lucchese is coming to pitch here, Cadman underneath that one. It’s sky high on the infield. They all kind of look at Will Adonis defer to the shortstop. He makes the play Tyler Fitzgerald came in the game in the third inning. Uh oh, that’s not good. It’s a line shot that is cut off out there by a slight. We got to play held at third base. You were all over that. You can see it developing. That was a bad hold. I think he probably was safe there. So we’ll take that does get the automatic walk to load the bases for Logan porter swing and a bouncer to third charging his Rojas avoids the baserunner throws to first for the out the top of the Dodger order the way he’s thinking he may get two, he hits first and puts the brakes on there as it’s cut off out there and left by Elliott Ramos , time run aboard and here’s Betts zero for two. That bat speed is starting to come back and a great opportunity for Freddie Freeman and Betts on base, a high chopper to second. It’s going to be fielded at second. And Then Bob Melvin heads out to the mound and the Giants are going to go to the bullpen for the right hander, ryan walker one out and Teoscar Hernandez, their leading RB I producer for the year coming up, here’s the payoff wicked slider and Teoscar Hernandez is gone and got a run in with a sacrifice fly in the first. Now, left center that’s down and has a three run shot. The Dodgers back on top and the phrases that have been sung about pas with runners on, he delivers, he went zero for five against Eric Miller with five strikeouts last year shy and a slow roller. This is gonna be a, he beats it out in spite of the acrobatic play by both Dom smith and eric Miller. Now Daniel Johnson is gonna pinch it for Logan Porter. Oh, that’s in too far inside K zone liked it. So did Kirby Yates but not CB Buckner have a chance for Johnson and he turns this and instead of strike three, Daniel Johnson strikes back and Kirby Yates is giving it to Buckner. He thought he had it out and instead it’s out for the first time. For Daniel Johnson and it’s a one run game two, 34 up for San francisco. Face left hander Tanner scott, a good start in 98 for scott back. It was a solid the pinch hitter Gerard Encarnacion 02 from scott to Encarnacion and Scott. Good morning, good afternoon and good night and the ninth to seal the win for.

  1. If they don’t wanna give Roki some starts have him practice as the closer. At least then he’ll get some games under his belt with learning experience

  2. 2 homeruns yesterday, 3 hits today and COMEBACK ON THE MOUND after more than 600 days absence tomorrow.
    His name is UNICORN🦄

  3. 3rd sacker r.devers will reek havoc with the dodgers joke of a rotation. and ohtani has no biz going back to the mound vs friars at this stage after going mia 2 yrs. if dodgers get 2 innings out of him w/o walking home half the world, should be greatful, lol

  4. Buckner is a terrible umpire. Called a pitch 6 inches off the plate a strike, and a pitch right over the corner of the plate a ball, and that bad call could have cost LA the game. Thankfully it didn't.

  5. Dodgers constantly getting squeezed into giving up HRs. There's gotta be a stat out there. It's happened so many times this season that I've lost count.

  6. The Giants really thought they could grab all the headlines with their acquisition of Rafael Devers…

  7. Hey, fellow baseball fans! I’m pouring my heart into making mini-docs about our favorite sport on my YouTube channel. Each video takes tons of time and effort to create, and I’m trying to break into the scene. I’d really appreciate you checking them out and sharing your feedback; it means a lot to hear from the baseball community!

  8. Yates is funny. He gives up a homer and it’s the umpires fault? Make better pitches no matter the conditions. That last why good coaches always teach to let the play go and do the next best thing. He looks childish.
