“I’m Excited for the Challenge” | Rasmus Dahlin Ahead of Return to Lineup | Buffalo Sabres
now how did you feel really good so you’re ready yeah I’m ready you know what how do you keep the pressure anybody because you know there’s pressure on you being the captain and who you are there people out there think it’s going to play type of thing how you keep from that pressure getting to you as you return uh honestly I haven’t had that in my mind once um you know all I can do is my best and uh I’m excited for the challenge here coming up so um it’s going to be uh it’s going to be good what is the frustration level knowing that this team is going through something that it’s got to be for in your day you know honestly I think it’s the best thing is to put it behind us um everyone has got to put put it behind them um you can’t control what what’s been done U yeah you can do but you can’t you can’t do anything about it so um all we have to do now is move forward we have to start on a new page uh uh and build I mean you’ve seen a lot of games this year we are a good team this is not who we are uh so we just um you know uh I’m excited for the challenge tomorrow um I hope hopefully we can do something really really good and um start the new page and uh anything can happen here in the future so um we everyone around our locker room everybody around town should um forget about what happened and move forward it’s frustrating being out of the lineup and watching your team go through what they went through over the last 11 games but are there any things you picked up watching the team that that you may be able to correct coming in a fresh in a lineup uh you know I saw they they’re battling um out of their mind I mean they were they were competing so hard and they really wanted it really really really much so um you know what I saw was a little bit um you know momentum swings one goals turned into a couple goals against them uh I think that’s our our our main focus whenever we let in one goal I mean we can let in a goal first 10 seconds next game uh we can’t we can’t do anything about it we just got to move forward and can’t let it come to us so I think that’s our our main thing and just swag uh we got to get back to um you know playing our best uh and you know guys in here can do really good stuff out there and we just got to get back to it and start a new page how can you change that mentality maybe the mentality let’s play to win not play not to type of mentality like when a goal is scored it’s almost like you guys get to oh we we got to play not to lose instead of you know let’s just go for it yeah it’s it’s the easiest thing to talk about honestly um but we don’t have a choice we have to do it we have to find a way to do it then um you know what’s been done is isn’t good enough so um but you know um that’s our mindset we have to have uh otherwise it’s it’s it’s hard in this league you know what the appos far as going to be like tomorrow previous times you how does this group in this situation deal with 18,000 Ln F same there um you know deal with it um we’re in this position and we just got to do everything we can to to win the game tomorrow and um you know we know what it’s going to be and um we just have to win how do you get over this penalty problem I know Lindy’s talked about it a lot but it just seems like you guys still are taking way too many penalties and it’s h you how can you guys as a team get over it uh honestly um not think about it it’s is it’s the main thing I think when you go into a battle thinking you don’t want to take a penalty it’s usually when it happens so um maybe maybe that’s in our head a little bit too much not to take any uh so uh same there we just we just got to play um we have to get back to Swagger we have to you know play our game and uh we know we’re a good team when we do that so um let out do you think you can be the voice on the bench that settles things down when things start going the other way uh I mean I’m going to try everything I can to do it so um you know we have we have good guys around here uh they can do it too and uh we’re in it together we got we got to find a way

Thank you the leader is back in ,wake up Sabres wake up
We believe in you Rasmus! Keep pushing and helping the guys build good habits and confidence!
A+ for his attitude. Hope it rubs off on the team. The media is trying to drag him down.
Greenway will be missed for many reasons. Time to get someone in with his size and skill-set if possible. His net-front presence is critical IMHO.
We missed you dahlin. We need someone worth watching!
Let’s goooooo
Captain! Oh my Captain! We need him and great attitude! Let's go Ras & Sabres!!
